My gown is a white off-the-shoulder ballgown with an elliptical crinoline underneath (it gives the skirts that iconic bell shape and leaves some excess in the back as a precursor to the bustle cage). There is a small, roughly knee-length overlay with some bow details on the train, at the backside, and on the sides of the overlay. There are also bows on the shoulderpiece. The actual skirt piece has some intricately small pleating, complete with a trim of bows with pearls in the center. I will also wear white opera gloves and a small tiara with a long gauzy veil to complete the look.
