Love At First Sight

Chapter 2

Allyson's POV

"She's such a bitch, trynna hit on my man!!" whispered Isabelle angrily. The three of us were currently in Biology class and instead of listening to the lecture being delivered by Dr Ara, we were listening to Isabelle about how Natalie flirted with Justin when they went to a date last night.

Natalie Sullivan aka the bitchest of bitches is the head cheerleader of the football team at our school. She's practically a slut, changes boyfriends every week, bullies other students and flirts with every hot guy at school. She's like Regina George from Mean Girls since she has two of her sidekicks with her all the time, Elsa Maddacan and Michelle Rosse. They're the meanest girls at our school.

Last year, Justin surprised Isabelle by coming here at school to pick her up for their valentine's date. Unfortunately, before he could find Isabelle he met Natalie who was shouting at a Freshman telling her that she should stop wearing makeup and that she looks ugly with it. The girl was sobbing while Natalie was clutching her jaw tightly while spitting profanities at her face. Justin stopped her and she started flirting with him even though he told her he's taken.

Later, she saw Justin with Isabelle and became jealous. She's hated Isabelle and the other two of us since that day. She just can't believe that Justin is dating Isabelle. She always tries to manipulate Isabelle against Justin telling her that he doesn't love her and will leave her. Isabelle believes otherwise because she knows how much Justin loves her and even having a huge crowd of fangirls after him, he's very much loyal to her.

"I know babe, you see bitches never learn even if--" I stopped speaking without completing my sentence as I saw Dr Ara staring in my direction.

"Would you mind sharing your stories with the class too, Ms Granger?" Dr Ara asked sarcastically smirking my way.
"Err I'm sorry" I replied abashed feeling my cheeks redden in embarrassment.

As the bell rang, we marched to the cafeteria for lunch. I was starving, therfore I hurried to stand in the long que of the students buying lunch. When it was my turn I ordered a slice of chocolate fudge cake and coffee, I reached for money to pay for my lunch from my pocket when I realised I had money in my denim jacket which I unfortunately forgot in the biology classroom. I started mentally cursing myself.

Just as I was about to request the cashier lady at the canteen to let me go to bring money from my friend since I forgot mine in my jacket, a hand came from behind me and handed some cash to the lady. "Keep the change", a firm voice said from behind me.

I turned around to thank the person for paying for me, but i was awestruck. To say that he was gorgeous would be an understatement because standing there with jet black hair parted on a side adorning the colour of his beautiful black doe eyes staring at me was an Angel. He had milky skin and thin pink lips. He had a good physique with bulging muscles on his biceps and a muscled chest which was visible through his white t-shirt which he had paired up with dark blue torn jeans and a pair of timberlands.

I was mermerized by the sight in front of me. After a moment of staring at him, I realized I would have to say something or he'll think of me as a freak.

"Umm-um Thank y-you for paying for me." I thanked him stuttering. I was waiting for him to reply too but I got confused when he just kept staring at my face unmoving making me self conscious.

Is there something on my face? Why's he looking at me like this? Oh God, this is so embarrassing! what if I look funny he'll think I'm weird Oh God oh-

"You're Welcome" He suddenly replied smiling, interrupting my thoughts. He had the most heart fluttering smile in the world with two of his front teeth showing making him look like a cute bunny.

We stared at each other for some time in silence after which I realized that I had never seen him here before.

Is he a new student?

"Are you new here?I've never seen you around." I asked him when I couldn't stand the silence with my face getting hot.

"Oh yes! Today's my first day. I'm Kaiden by the way." He replied in his oh so angelic voice.

"I'm Allyson, eh I'll pay you back-" I was about to tell him that I would pay him back for my lunch when he interrupted me.

"It's okay. You don't need to pay me back. Just be my friend and show me around, that'll be your pay pack"

I couldn't believe my ears. Kaiden, the most handsome boy  in the world was asking me to be his friend. I was already crushing on him and he wanted me to be his friend.

Something is better than nothing, right? Atleast that way I'll be able to talk to him. Friends or whatever.

Smiling, I nodded at him agreeing to be his friend and shook his hand that he extended towards me.

A cough startled me and I quickly removed my hand from his and looked towards my left . Anna and Isabelle were standing there, smug smilies on their faces with one eyebrow arched.

"Uh Kaiden these are my best friends, Anna and Isabelle. Girls, this is Kaiden. He's new here and he wants me to show him around." I spoke nervously as I introduced Kaiden to my friends and vice versa.

"Oh hello Kaiden. Nice to meet you" Anna replied in her cheerful voice.

"Hi Anna. The pleasure is mine." Kaiden replied politely.

"Hi Kaiden. Hope you like this place. Now I know what took Allyson so long...?? " Isabelle asked, smirking as I blushed and looked down.

"Um yeah, Isabelle we were just talking about her showing me around. I'm sorry I kept her occupied.." Kaiden apologised scratching his neck nervously.

"Its okay Kaiden. Anyways, we shall get seated otherwise the bell would ring and we'd remain hungry. I have computer class next and I can't focus when my stomach is empty" Anna said pouting a bit as we laughed and hastened towards our table.

Kaiden and I ended up in the same class which was our last period of the day. We sat together in the class and he told me that he transfered at our school from Riverview High school's first branch and that his friends would also join him here from the next week.

He too had two friends and they'd studied together since fourth grade when they realized they were neighbours and went to the same school. I told him that I've known my best friends since I was small and we laughed sharing childhood stories with each other.

I was surprised to know that he too listened to BTS, my favourite band in the world and that made me realize we had so much in common. We talked about our favourite songs from their latest album.

At the end of the day, we exchanged numbers as I promised him to show the school around the next day and rode in my cycle with my friends towards home.

After dinner, I went to my room to sleep and checked my phone when I saw Kaiden's  message.

Goodnight, friend.

I replied to him with a good night  and a sleeping emoji as I plugged my phone on charger. I lied down on my bed with a smile on my face and dreamt about a boy with doe eyes and bunny smile.
