"As you all have heard, it's true- Coming off that Superbowl win against the Patriots, Jennie Kim and the Los Angeles Grounders make NFL history as the first team to win three consecutive championships. And now, looking at their post season workout- I'd say they look ready to possibly extend that to a fourth win, Jeff." The reporter quirked, dressed in a typical suit, heavily juxtaposed by the image of Jennie on the screen in the corner, sweat rolling off her body as she ran drills with her team.

Jennie would've heard the on-location reporters, had her head not been so buried in the drills. She would've heard them, and would've bitten back a smirk, because all of it was true, but none of it was her main cause of excitement, recently.

Football was taking a back seat to the most precious time, and person, in her life.

Jennie's fingers itched to simply grab her bag, get her keys, and go home, but she knew she was being overly excitable.

She pushed herself until her lungs hurt, and her arms felt heavy and slow, and she made her way off to the sidelines.

"Jennie! Hey! Over here! Jennie!"

Jennie lifted her head to take stock of the numerous fans who were waiting impatiently for her, snapping photos of her every movement.

Little girls, dressed in her jersey. Little boys, exactly the same. Men and women, fully grown, shaking at the sight of their idol, the local (possibly, national) "hero".

Jennie smiled, thanking whoever put the towel around her shoulders, and then made her way forward, watching them get elated with the realization that she would sign for them.

And she did.

Autographs, pictures, everything.

She waited, and waited, watching the stadium clock like a hawk, antsy as she tried to remain calm for every photo, every flirtatious comment, every compliment.

It wasn't that Jennie didn't enjoy the attention- hell, she thrived on it.

She was simply preoccupied, today.

Still, not wanting to disappoint, Jennie remained until the very last fan managed to get an autograph (and hug Jennie for just a bit too long) before she was gently pulled away by security.

Jennie smiled and waved as she left for the locker room, all the while, in quite the hurry.

She changed, unaware of the ESPN vans pulling away from the location, replaced by vans bearing the logos of E! News, TMZ, and People as they filed out. Neat and orderly, they resembled Jennie's well-disciplined team, the way they ran out and began setting up their cameras as if they were soldiers prepping for battle.

In a sense, they were.

It was the hottest story in the celebrity world, after all.

Every network, newspaper, and site wanted information, as often as they could.

Not thirty minutes later, Jennie emerged to go out to her car, freshly showered, changed, and with a hint of a smirk on her lips.

She was a completely different person, off the turf of the stadium.

Her long hair cascaded around her shoulders, soft brunette waves clean. Her designer sunglasses sitting atop her head, a light shade of lipstick on pouty lips, and legs for days in the designer jeans she wore.
