"You." Jisoo rasped softly. "Us."

Jennie blinked curiously, and her long lashes fluttered, grazing the edge of Jisoo's skin from where Jennie's face was buried.

It was a silent urge to continue.

"I'm just thinking about how everything is full circle, now that we're here in YG, again." Jisoo explained.

Jennie hummed. "You're thinking about high school, aren't you?"

"Yeah." Jisoo admitted. "I mean, I got to live out a fairy tale. Quarterback extraordinaire takes a liking to me? Unreal."

Jennie smirked. "She more than took a liking to you."

"She tolerates me." Jisoo smirked right back.

"She's..." Jennie stretched, leaning up to pepper kisses against Jisoo's jaw. "Madly, blissfully in love with you."

"Is that so?" Jisoo quipped with a smile.

"Mmm." Jennie hummed her response, inching towards Jisoo's lips. Her heart was thrumming at all the contact. "Can you just imagine, telling our high school selves that we'd return just...six years later, famous and blissfully happy together?"

Jisoo scoffed. "Can you imagine telling high school Jisoo that she was aching to have Jennie Rubyjane Kim' babies? She'd call you a crazed, rabid fan-girl."

Jennie chuckled. "You would've thrown a copy of Pride and Prejudice at my head."

She pressed a kiss to Jisoo's lips, greeting her officially.

"My best friend." Jisoo whispered reverently. "Jennie Kim."

Jennie smiled sheepishly, all cheeks and closed eyes, enjoying the press of Jisoo's body.

"You're awfully sentimental this morning." Jennie murmured, though her tone belied her words. She was loving it.

"I just want you to know." Jisoo shrugged.

"Well, I love hearing it." Jennie smirked, stealing a kiss. "And I would love to spend all day right here with you, but..."

"I'm Jennie Rubyjane Kim, and I have a company to help run." Jisoo mocked her, earning a nip.

"It's not like you're not working today either!" Jennie defended with a playful smile. "Ms. Dante Wallace and I are meeting for lunch to discuss revamping the YG gallery so I won't be home 'till dinner, baby."

Jisoo smirked. "Do I sound like that?"

Jennie scoffed. "Like what? That was perfect."

"All husky like that? Like I have a sore throat, I'm jogging, and having sex all at the same time? Jisoo rolled her eyes.

"Mhmm." Jennie insisted. "Your voice is one of the sexiest things in this universe, Kim."

Jisoo smiled, blushing slightly despite her wave of nonchalance.

"I'm proud of you." Jennie turned serious for a moment, head propped up on her arm as she regarded Jisoo with a warm brown gaze.

Jisoo blinked curiously, as if she couldn't fathom why.

Jennie knew of Jisoo's tendency to undersell herself. Jennie wanted Jisoo to see herself the way Jennie saw her. Absolute perfection. Someone to be revered with great love. Someone boundlessly talented.

"Jisoo." Jennie shook her head slightly in amazement. "You had a dream, and you followed it."

Before Jisoo could interject, Jennie pressed on. "One of our first dates was at that gallery. You looked at a piece, and you told me you wanted it. And later on in the Louvre, when we were in Paris, I knew your work was going to be influential, and brilliant. And look, Jisoo. You're one of the hottest upcoming artists in the industry. Everyone wants you. Designers, galleries, patrons...you're nothing short of incredible, Jisoo Kim. I just got to witness it first hand."
