Start from the beginning

"We're proud of you"

He smiled.

"Huh? How come?"

"You really pulled through in the end~"

"And came back to us alive~"

Chenle and Jisung stated.

"You also protected us~"

"And took on a whole army of soldiers~"

Renjun and Donghyuck continued.

"And you had fun today~! I was so happy to see you smiling~. It really made my day brighter~"

Jeno got up and ruffled my hair, smiling brightly.

"Hyuuuuung~!"

He just giggled and went back to his bed.

"Night Jaemin~~~"

They all cheered.

I turned off their light and happily bid them goodnight again, before finally leaving the room.

When I got to my room, Doyoung was sitting on my bed waiting for me.

"Hyung?"

"Jaemin~"

"What's up?"

"Nothing~. I just wanted to give you this"

He got up and gave me a tiny box.

"What is it hyung??"

"You'll see when you open it~. Goodnight~"

He kissed my forehead, and just left the room.

I shrugged it off, and sat on my bed, opening the box. Inside, was a small dragon ring.

With it, was a small letter, written in Doyoung's handwriting.

"From all of us to you. To us, you're strong like a dragon Jaemin. Always keep that fighting spirit of yours~!"

Below the message, was everyone's signatures. I held up the ring and admired it closely, paying attention to every detail.

"They did this for me...?"

"|They're really nice guys. I'm glad that I'm able to be of service to all of you Jaemin|"

For as long as I've been with him, this is the first time Lucas's voice has sounded less like a computer system, and more like a real person.

It makes me happy, like this is the beginning for us to becoming closer friends~.

"And we're glad to have you around Lucas~"
