Junghwan had left earlier than Jieun to go to school since his school was a bit further away from home than Jieun's school, and on his way to education, he managed to bump into Eunsang. Eunsang's face lit up when he saw his hyung alone; straight away, the younger boy didn't think twice before running up the street to greet Junghwan with a wide smile on his face,
"hYUNG!! HELLO" He screamed whilst sprinting towards his older friend, at this moment Eunsang could only picture Jieun in his mind because of how scarily Junghwan and Jieun resembled each other, they could pass as siblings. Eunsang was excited to speak to Jieun more frequently and what better way to get in touch with her than to nag his best friend and her cousin,,
"Oh Eunsang-ah, i need to talk to you actually" Junghwan stopped walking and raised his arm to place a hand on Eunsang's skinny shoulder. He sighed, thinking of an excuse to make so that Eunsang would hopefully leave his cousin alone for the time being. Junghwan was quite eager to know the real reason that Jieun wanted him to tell Eunsang to leave her alone.. many different ideas scrambled through his brain,
"i think it's best if you stop speaking to Jieun, for now."
"why? did i do something wrong?" Eunsang started to feel anxious and troubled, he expressed this by frowning and forming a slight fist with his hands. His facial expression changed so drastically that it panicked Junghwan, making him feel guilty
"UhM... no... she's just really sick, m-mentally. and she needs a lot of space and time to herself; I'm sure she wouldn't want you worrying about her so you should just cut her off for a little while"
"ah, i see. hm, tell her to get well soon then! let's go to school" Eunsang decided to drop it although he clearly knew that his friend was lying to his face. He too started to get intrigued by this situation. Eunsang was aware that he and Jieun were not close yEt, and he doesn't really know her but he could also tell when people are lying to him. it slightly hurt him but he soon shrugged the situation off his shoulders.

After school was finished, the two boys headed to the same park where eunsang met Jieun, to meet up with their older friend; Kim Sihun. Coincidentally they saw Jieun walk past the park, on her way back from school. she looked drained from head to toe, from her appearance to her posture the boys could tell that Jieun needed to get some sleep.
"She definitely doesn't look healthy" Sihun pointed out. after taking a closer look at Jieun, Eunsang pondered about what junghwan had told him earlier about Jieun being mentally unwell and it made him think about if he was really being lied to or not. In fact, he got so carried away staring at Jieun and thinking about her well being that he didn't even notice her staring back at him with a blank expression, her heartbeat sped up rapidly... and she ran, not looking back
