#newmass The UMass Minutemen had their season ended but the eventual national champions the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs at the national championship game. Cale Makar bided farewell to Amherst and now UMass might be lost on defense. John Leonard was amazing on both sides of the puck and his future in Amherst is uncertain. The reason UMass came up short last spring was because Matt Murray arguably the best goalie in college hockey wasn't on the ice but he will back for the Minutemen this season. The Minutemen bring in twelve men to Amherst to try and get this extremely talented team to the top of the college hockey world. Good luck boys let's see if you can win Hockey East this season ah.
