The AIC Yellow Jackets beat the Niagara Purple Eagles in the Atlantic Hockey championship game to hoist the trophy. A week later, the Yellow Jackets were disposed of by the Denver Pioneers in the west regional final. AIC brings back the majority of the championship winning team from last year to this year. Hugo Reinhardt put up 16 points for the defending Atlantic Hockey champs and will be looked upon to continue to carry the load next season. The Yellow Jackets bring eleven men to Springfield to try and repeat as conference champions. Good luck boys Niagara and the rest of your conference is very upset and they're out for blood so beware.
