I laughed as I walked beside Michael and into the house. He had just taken me to Rosewood Rec. Centre's Gymnastics studio and we had a lot of fun. Afterwards we went for a light lunch a.k.a frozen yogurt from Menchies. So maybe he's not as bad as I had initially thought. He's pretty cool. Michael and I froze as we stepped out onto the patio. Everyone was sitting there as Amy gave a rant.

She huffed, "Luke, explain this to Michael. I am not going to repeat myself!" She stormed off and Michael let out a whistle. As Luke approached us people began to chatter.

"Who pissed in her Cheerios?" I asked, watching as she stomped away.

Luke chuckled, "Valerie was kicked off for starting a physical fight with Ella."

"Wow." I rolled my eyes. How can some people be so childish? "What about?"

"For getting to go with Cal for two weeks in a row." It was his turn to roll his eyes.

"People are unbelievable." I shrugged, looking down at my pushed up sleeve where my arm was covered in ink and pouted holding out my arm.

"Why are you upset? It looks amazing." Luke asked.

"I'm out of doodling space." I said dramatically. "You see? These are my problems in life!"

"There's a thing called paper." Michael pointed out.

"And what's the fun in that, huh?" I said in a duh tone. Michael rolled his eyes.

"Wanna watch a movie?" Luke asked randomly.

"Nothing better to do, sure." I shrugged. "What about you, Mike?"

Michael smirked, "Nah." I looked At him in confusion but shrugged him off and followed Luke to the patio. I sat next to him and we started to watch Mean Girls. I cocked an eyebrow at him, as if to say 'really?' He just nodded and blushed. I shrugged and swung my legs over his lap and grabbed his arm. I ignored the look that he gave me, reading 'da fuq you doin', GURL?' And pulled out the sharpie I had in my back pocket and began to sketch a tree on his arm.

Luke-

As hard as I tried to concentrate on the movie, I couldn't. I was stuck staring at Blake. She was so cute as her brow furrowed in concentration and her tongue poked through her lips. Her eyes were trained on her work, her flawless work. I wanted to ask her out so bad, but I knew that if I did and she turned me down it would be such an awkward few months.

Maybe closer to the end if I can figure out her feelings towards me. Then it might not be so bad.

But for now, I'm stuck admiring from afar. Maybe we could have a lot of moments like these? That would help.

"It's amazing." I complimented her as he popped the cap on the felt pen. "You should do another one when this one washes off."

"See! This is why you're my favourite!" she exclaimed. "You let me win at laser tag, you let me draw on you when I'm in the middle of a no-skin-left dilemma and you resemble a giraffe! My second most favourite animal!"

I smiled at her thoughts, "What's your first favourite?"

"A lion." She giggled. "The lion king is my favouritest movie ever."

I'll keep that in mind. I just smiled and we continues to watch the rest of Mean Girls.
