"How do we get it out then hyung?!"

Doyoung asked, starting to panic.

"Hold on..."

Taeyong went into the storage room, and came back with two blue reactors.

"If I use one of these and hold it close to the red reactor, they should cancel each other out"

"So both of the reactors will lose their power right?"

I asked.

"Exactly. But stand back a little"

Taeyong got some very long tongs, and picked up one of the blue reactors with it.

He held it close to the red reactor and it looked like the two reactors were bonding together, but they both started sparking, making Jaemin's body convulse a little.

The two reactors made a huge final spark and they both turned grey. Jaemin's body went limp in the process, making all of us worry.

"Don't worry. His body just powered down because of the voltage. But thankfully, it'll make my job a lot easier to fix him"

"Should we give you some space hyung?"

Doyoung questioned.

"I think that'd be best. I'll bring him out once I'm done"

Doyoung led us all out of the room, including Johnny, and offered to make us something to eat.

"So hyung, why did you want to help my brother?"

Doyoung questioned Johnny while we all ate.

"He's your brother?! I had no idea! But anyway, when I first saw him, I thought that he was just a regular kid. Then when I asked him about it at the base, he told me that he was bionic. I thought he was experimented on, but he told me that he died and was brought back to life"

"Yeah. Taeyong-hyung brought him back for me. Jaemin didn't know he was bionic until just recently though"

"I see. He's such a good kid. I wish that I could've stopped them from doing this to him"

"Why didn't you?"

Donghyuck asked.

"They would've killed me if I tried to stop them too early, especially since I'm not the best fighter out there... But when Jaemin killed all of those soldiers, I realized that I could help him get out if he got rid of the rest of them for me. So, we got out, and I brought him back to all of you. It was just my luck that you all came to look for him when you did. He probably would've killed me too if I took too long to find you all. But I didn't know that he'd react the way that he did. I thought that he'd be really happy to see you all"

"I think I know why he wasn't, according to what Taeyong-hyung told Mark before. The red reactor overrode his system, and messed up his mind. They wanted to use him as a killing machine, and to do that, they had to change his way of thinking. He wanted to get out of that base, but he didn't know how, in my opinion. I'm thinking that that's the only reason why he spared you. When he saw us, he didn't remember us. And when I ran up to him, I think that he felt threatened or scared, which is why he attempted to kill me first. I think he thought that we were his enemies, and thought that we wanted to harm him, but for some reason, when Jeno here said his name, he changed back to normal somewhat"

Doyoung explained.

"I think I know why he changed back. When I was driving with him, I started up a conversation and introduced myself to him. I asked him what his name was, and he seemed confused. He said that he didn't know whether it was that he didn't know his name or if he'd forgotten it"

"They must've planned to change him that much to the point where he wouldn't know or remember anything, apart from destroying those that he perceived as threats"

I explained.

"But there's something that I don't get"

"What is it hyung?"

I asked the perplexed Johnny.

"When he killed all of those soldiers, I hid, thinking that he would kill me too. He apparently saw me hide and came to investigate. When he saw my face, it looked like his head started hurting him, and his eyes would flicker from red to blue. And every time he looked at one of you in the face, his head started hurting and his eyes would flicker again. Then..., you're name is Jeno right?"

He asked me, and I nodded.

"When Jeno yelled his name, he stopped what he was trying to do completely. When he got closer to him, Jaemin didn't back up or try to hurt him. Even when Jeno touched him, he didn't do anything. But when Jaemin looked at Jeno in the face, his eyes flickered again, but it looked like his head was hurting way more than the other times"

"I think I know why"

Renjun interrupted.

"I think that every time he looked at someone he's known, loved, or taken a liking to, his head began to hurt, as if he was trying to remember us. And I think that when his eyes flickered, it might've been that he was trying to break free of the red reactor's control on him. Or something like that"

He continued, and Johnny slowly began to understand. 

"I see... But why is it that Jeno made his head hurt the most? Are you two that close??"

Johnny asked me.

"I'd say we are. I've been there for him since the first day we met as kids. He was out of school for a long time at one point, but I know now that he was out so long because he died and Taeyong-hyung was bringing him back to life. So when he came back, I almost never left his side, and we got even closer. We hung out more and everything"

"So that's why... I guess it makes since that it didn't happen with me. I was always busy and barely spent time with him, especially when he was brought back to life. He would usually be by himself or with the rest of you, especially since I was always working with Taeyong-hyung..."

Doyoung realized, looking kind of guilty.

We changed the subject for his sake, and began to introduce ourselves to Johnny. He's a really nice guy, and we all started having fun talking to him.

1 Hour Later

-

"Guys! He's ready! We're coming out!"

Taeyong yelled from down the hall.

He soon appeared with Jaemin, and he was awake~. His hair was back to normal too~.

I was the first to walk towards him, and he began to walk towards me. We stopped in front of each other, and I got nervous, thinking that he wouldn't remember me.

"J-Jaemin?"

I stuttered, hoping he'd remember.

But then, he suddenly smiled at me.

"Jeno~~!"

He squealed and suddenly brought me into a tight hug.

I felt my tears pooling in my eyes and quickly hugged him back, smiling widely as my tears fell.

Everyone else came and hugged us, including Johnny.

After we all broke the hug, we had to make sure that Jaemin remembered all of us, and he did~. He even remembered Johnny, and they practically just met~.

"J-Jaemin?!"

We heard Mark in the distance.

He was finally awake again~.

"Mark-hyung~~~!!"

Jaemin ran up to him and engulfed him in a hug.

Of course Mark got emotional too, and hugged him back.

We finally have our best friend back, safe and back to normal~.
