A) This poem is solely written by me and only by me. A huge thanks to Niqabi_Secrets for helping me out with it.
B) The story narrated in this poem is in fact true and I will not hesitate to sue anyone who hates on it. It is a poem very dear to my heart and I cannot bear someone hating on it.
C)The few wordings in the poem are tampered with to keep the suspense till the end.
D)If you like it, please share it.

Here we go, Ten Deceiving Years(2019).....

Tear stained face, I entered the classroom.

Clad in blue T-shirt with greyish-blue overalls.

Sister placed me in the backseat, my face looked gloom

with squalls, echoing through the halls.

~

With pleading eyes, I implored.

My screams, she hesitantly ignored

and left, rivulets ran from my eyes,

and out my mouth, came the cries.

~

"It's okay, you'll be fine"

gestured a girl next to me, halting my whine.

With words and actions, I know not,

She welcomed me with open heart.

~

That day, at heart, we made a pact

albeit lasted short, but intact

with empathy and compassion,

we carried on our motioned conversation.

~

Months or years, I couldn't recall

after which you unexpectedly vanished and that was my downfall.

Painfully and brutally, behind my bust, like ember, my heart fired

"Where, did you go......?" I feared

~

"She's gone, she's gone," they all mockingly derided.

Their words to me, were almost dead.

Still, baffled, and it endured, further.

and that clause, to tune out, became harder.

~

Late morning, that fateful day,

Rolling came the tears, I couldn't keep at bay.
