early morning
country air
fills my lungs
a beautiful day
escaped from the city
relaxing .. comes to mind
walk a few miles
sightsee nature
admire the sky
enjoy solitude
no one to speak with
hopefully .. no one to avoid
grab a rod and reel
head to my favorite fishing hole
my mind ponders .. so free
forgetting about my troubles
I hear the birds whistling .. singing
sweet sanity thrives .. life .. alive
somewhere .. the world stopped
brief moments .. in time
