everyone stared at me, some with expressions of confusion, some surprise and others jealousy. as i walked into the school gates, i heard different types of whispers. first the confusion, "who is that? i've never seen him in school before." next the surprise, "damn, he's so hot." and the jealousy, which were mostly from the boys, "ugh, another competitor, the hell he so good looking for?"

however, i ignored, only walking towards the walls of lockers painted red, yellow and blue. i scanned through the different colours and finally saw the number 19 on the locker that was soon to be mine. i keyed in the password the email mentioned and opened it. i took out some books and arranged them neatly in the locker to lighten the heavy burden that i dragged to school from home. i left my math books in my bag and walked towards my math class with my hands stuffed in my pockets.

as i entered class, only a few students, whom i assume would be my classmates, were in class. i sat down at the second last row of the classroom and took out my math books. i plugged in my headphones and played music while lying on the table on my left side.

"hey, sorry, no using your phone in class please," a voice called out. i opened my eyes to see two very good looking boys beside the two tables, in which i was seated at one.

"oh, i'm sorry about that," i quickly took it out and kept them in my bag as they sat in front and beside me. "oh um, lee minho. nice to meet you guys," i said in surprise when they sat down.

"bang chan, this is seo changbin," the boy who sat beside me explained. i nodded as the boy with soft light brown hair, directly in front of me said, "nice to meet you! i'm changbin." his friendly character could be seen through his bright smile that seemed to cheer everyone up.

"there he goes again," chan chuckled. "are you new here?" he asked while looking at me. his smile and eyes were soft and seemed completely harmless. i looked down to his shiny badge and read "prefect."

"he was probably the one who stopped me from using my phone," i thought. "yeah, i'm new." he then nodded, and offered me to ask them if i need anything. after a while, a man in casual office uniform came in, "good morning, i'm mr ji and i'm your teacher for the remaining year as ms park is on maternity leave. welcome back to school after your month long holiday, i look forward to being your home room teacher." we all greeted him and the usual administrative stuff starts again. lessons went on as usual, with the guidance of changbin and chan and soon it was lunch time.

"you can hang out with us, we're friends now, right?" changbin asked enthusiastically. i smiled and nodded at their kindness as they led us to the cafeteria. due to the heavy breakfast my mother fed me with this morning when she visited, i excused myself to go and explore the school, "i'll meet you guys back in class after lunch." they agreed and i left, to see the different features of the new school i'd have to get used to.
