Lost and Found (on hiatus)

Beginning (2)

This takes place after the exwires found out about Rin. (In the Anime, not the manga. I only watched the first season of Blue Exorcist so bear with me here)

Rin shot out of bed with a start. He groggily grabbed his alarm clock to check the time.

Eyes widening, he jumped out of bed, first period ended in fifteen minutes. He was a little pissed that Yukio didn't wake him up, but he figured he was still mad about the whole jail thing.

He quickly dressed in his wrinkled school uniform and grabbed his sword, slinging it onto his back. He said goodbye to kuro as he scarfed down his breakfast. He yelled out a thankyou to Ukobach on his way out the door.

He ran into the school and made it just in time for second period. He spotted Bon and Konekomaru immediately and sent them a friendly grin and a wave.

His grin faltered when he got a look of fear and a glare of hatred in return. It threw him off, was it because he was the son of satan?

'I thought they were fine with it...' He thought, remembering how they had helped him with that whole ordeal with the Vatican after his fight with Amaimon.

'Maybe it was aimed at somebody else..?' He thought hopefully. He shrugged it off and made his way towards his second period class.

"Ah, I understand your concerns, Mr Masters. Our school has one of the best security in Japan, nobody will be able to get in unless we want them to" Mephisto Pheles assured his old acquaintance in front of him.

Vlad Masters had known Mephisto for a long while, he knew about his demon counterpart even before The Ghost Zone and Gehenna had regained peace after King Pariah had gotten defeated. He didn't exactly trust the man with his life, but he figured he could trust him with this.

"Are you absolutely positive? It's very important to me that those imbeciles won't be able to track him here" By imbeciles, Vlad meant the Guys In White.

The accident that killed the rest of the Fenton family left Danny wounded and missing his left arm. Vlad managed to build a very realistic detachable prosthetic that allowed Danny to still shoot ecto blasts with it. Before Vlad found him though, Danny would of been taken by The GIW had Vlad not shown up when he did. As soon as Danny recovered from his injuries, Vlad adopted him and flew them both to Japan where Danny could be safe. He wasn't exactly happy about it, the exact opposite really, but Vlad knew it was for the best.

"I can assure you, with the seals all around the school nobody will be able to track him, not even their advanced technology. This is the safest place for him. Having said that, are you sure you don't want him to stay in the dorms?" Mephisto asked.

Vlad nodded.
"I'd rather him stay at the house where a he can have quick access to the ghost zone"

The two talked for a bit more before Vlad had to leave for a meeting with a possible business associate. They shook hands and Vlad turned around, walking out the door.

As soon as the door closed, Mephisto sagged in relief before taking out his favorite manga and reading it.

"This school year shall be an interesting one" He mused, flipping a page.

Outside Mephisto's office, Vlad walked towards Danny who was sitting on the waiting bench, headphones on and music blasting through them.

Vlad frowned and took the headphones off.
"Don't have your music up so loud, you're going to lose your hearing" He scolded.
