They were planning to override my system. That's what he meant earlier when he warned me to not lose sight of who I was.

I suddenly felt something impale me in my back from the table that I was strapped to, and I screamed out in pain.

The scientist and the other two soldiers seemed confused. I guess they thought that I couldn't feel pain.

Ignoring my cries of pain, the scientist came over to me and opened up my chest cavity. He found the place where my reactor was and opened its compartment.

He motioned for the soldier with the box to come over. He ordered him to open it, and it revealed a glowing red reactor, very similar to the red core in Astro Boy.

That's how they were planning to override my system...

The scientist took the red reactor out of the box, and took my blue reactor out of me. He tossed it against the wall, and it shattered.

He still has that creepy smile on his face while doing it.

I began to panic and tried to get free of my restraints when he brought the red reactor closer to me, but the other two soldiers held me down.

I still kept struggling, so the scientist ordered the other soldier to tase me. He looked like he didn't want to do it, and he just kept refusing while looking at me with sorrowful eyes.

The scientist impatiently snatched the shocking stick from him and tased me himself, earning more screams of agonizing pain from me.

The voltage must've been increased, because it felt even more painful and powerful than before.

Seeing that he put me in a stable state to where I wouldn't struggle, he continued with the operation.

He placed the red reactor inside of the compartment, and I jolted when I felt a shock from its energy.

He closed the compartment and quickly closed my chest cavity. I looked up at the monitor, and the System Override progression bar slowly started to fill. I could feel the red reactor's power beginning to take over me.

The scientist and the soldiers then left the room, leaving me alone.

"L-Lucas, put T-Taeyong-hyung and Doyoung-h-hyung back on!"

"|Un—der-s—stoo-d|"

It seems that he was starting to be affected too...

On the other end, I could hear Doyoung yelling at Taeyong.

"/Do something hyung!!! He's suffering!!!/"

"/I can't do anything on my end! The red reactor is too powerful to let anything affect it! The only thing that could affect it was the blue reactor, and they destroyed it!/"

"/But we have to do something!!! I don't want to lose him again!!!/"

"/I know! I'm doing my best!!/"

"S-Stop trying..."

They both got silent when they realized that I was on the other end.

"T-The override i-is a-already at eighty-five percent... T-There's nothing t-that c-can s-stop it n-now..."

I could feel the negative energy of the reactor taking over, and it unfortunately started to feel good as the override continued.

"/Jaemin! Just hang on! We're coming to get you!/"

Taeyong-hyung cut off the line after that.

"D-Damn it... T-That's...n-not what I w-wanted..."

The override was now at ninety-eight percent, and I could see my vision slowly turning red and my head started to hurt, a lot.

I tried struggling again, and this time, because of the reactor's power, I was strong enough to break free.

I ripped off what impaled my back before, and I fell off the table in the process.

"F-Fuck..."

I held my head that was pounding away.

I did my best to try and pull myself up to stand up, but the pain was too much.

The override made it to one hundred percent, and my vision turned completely red, and I halted my actions completely.

The scientist walked in again.

He started walking towards me, and held his hand out to help me up.

He thought I would grab his hand.

But I tricked him.

As I held my hand out, my hand and forearm transformed into an arm cannon and I shot him with it.

He got blasted into a nearby wall.

I slowly got up, and ran my other hand through my hair.

He started panicking when I slowly walked closer to him.

"Isn't this what you wanted?"

I crouched down to his level, and he started crying.

I held my arm cannon against his head, and shot right through it.

"Where's that creepy smile now asshole~?"

I walked out of the room, to be met with multiple soldiers pointing their puny guns at me.

I transformed my other arm into an arm cannon, and did the one thing that they wanted me to do.

Destroy.
