Behind a smile

Part 1~When things go wrong (Izumi and Chibi)

I flinched back before stammering, "I-I don't know how to cook Daddy."

I didn't have enough time to pull away as Daddy smashed the bottle into the side of my head.

"Well that's not my f**king problem, Izuku!" He delivered a kick to my stomach. "If it wasn't for you, you f**king little b*stard, she would still f**king be here!" He delivered kick after kick, punch after punch, until he finally stopped and went back to his chair, getting a bottle out of the pack he started to drink. "This is your fault! You're the bloody problem! You're a demon who killed my wife. You killed my own sh*ting wife! Don't f**king expect any sh*ting sympathy from me! Do you hear me?! Stay the f**k away from me or you'll get more of my sh*ting love and affection!" He throw the bottle at me it shattering on my back and pouring out its contents out, stinging my broken skin.

Scampering up I ran from my father, running into my bed and pulling the cover over my head as if it would protect me.

"And don't make a f**king sound you sh*ting b*stard!" Father screamed at me as I cried.

I was hungry. I was hurt. I was scared

•Don't worry Izuku, I promise I'll help you.• I heard a female voice speak, the voice bouncing round my head. It was calming in a way.

•Yeah Nii-chan don't worry!• This voice was cheerful and full of life, unlike the other which was more like a sympathetic mother.

"W-who are you?" I stammered out keeping my voice small so father wouldn't hear.

•We are you, and we will protect you!• The female voice announced protectively.

•Yeah!• The childish voice cheered as I smiled falling asleep.

Izuku was a broken boy, he often laid in a pool of his own blood. He was scared and alone with no one and nothing. Or so his father thought, but Izuku wasn't alone, after that day he never was alone again.

And though his quirk was never registered he knew what it was. His quirk was called 'power up'.

The amazing ability to take in energy from his surroundings and convert it into physical strength. That wasn't all it did, it gave him voices he couldn't explain and he could create a copy of himself the voice could control.

If he over uses his quirk he can feel very tired and collapse.

Izuku wishes he could learn what his quirk really was but he was never taken to any type of doctor so that wouldn't happen.

He didn't care, he just kept repeating; 'it’s just me, myself and I.'

The first voice was called Izumi. She was the only girl in his head, they believe she represents who Izuku would have been if he was a girl though they see each other as more non-identical twins.

She looks after her brothers. She would protect any of them with her life.

She likes heroes especially Ereaser head.

She isn't quick to forgive without a reason.

She fears watching her brothers die and being unable to stop it.

She hates swearing.

Her quirk is called 'light bend'. She can use light rays to create barriers and chains. The light can be transferred into a healing power.

If she over uses who quirk she can feel very tired and collapse.

The second voice is called Chibi.

He acts like a child, he believes he is a child so he isn't afraid to act like one.

He likes playing with his siblings but he doesn't always understand what they say.

His favourite hero is recovery girl.

He fears being in closed spaces.

He hate being forgotten and tries to make his siblings feel better.

Chibi's quirk is called 'mind control'. He can control anyone who looks in his eyes.

However if he over uses his quirk he will get head aches and migraines.

This is their little family and this is all they need... for now at least.
