"You got it." I put my attention back on her shoulders
"Baby you wanna go out tonight." She asked unlocking her phone
"I want you to rest so no."
"I'm fine Jas really." She started to get up but stumbled back which immediately caught my concern.
"No look I'm taking you to the doctor now." Ken walked in
"Hey— Tia, you look pale boo."
"You stay here I'm gonna take her to hospital."
"Hospital?! No this ain't what I signed up for. Ian going to no damn hospital."
"Tia Michele. You are going even if I have to drag your ass."
"Well that's the only way." She put all her weight down and stayed still. But I knew just how to get her.
"Ken give us a minute."
"Ok" he stepped outside closing the door.
"Ok baby you don't have to go. Come here, give me some loving." I held my arms open for to come in. She hugged me, then I kissed her. I could tell she wasn't feeling good cause she didn't kiss me the way she normally does. Once we pulled away, I picked her up carrying her on my shoulder.
"I swear Jasmine."
"You swear nothing." I got on the elevator, Tia still was hanging off my shoulder. I heard her breathing, it was sorta shallow and at a fast pace
"Tia, stay with me baby."
"I'm with you... baby I'm cold." All that shot through my mind was no no no this can't be happening. I started to tear up.
"I love you Tia, just stay with me ok."
"I...love you...too." Ken held the door opened as put her in the back and got in. I rest her head on my lap and kissed her forehead. Ken drove like a bat straight out of hell.
"Jasmine." Her voice was like a whisper
"Tia look your gonna be fine, Look we're going on vacation so you can rest."
"Ok but Jasmine what—."
"Tia we not doing this there's no what nor no If. You're gonna be fine, let's talk about Mia."
"Remember when she threw up on you."
"And remember when she slapped your reading glasses off." She chuckled
"That's my baby."
"We're here." I picked her getting her in. One the nurses immediately took her in the back. I hope she's ok
"Ken you take over and have MiMi to help you. I'm taking Tia on vacation."
"Alright." Tamar came in Basically was getting ready to charge at me but Ken stop her
"Hold on heffa, don't be charging up on Jasmine like that. Better sit your size 10 ass down and come like you got some sense."
"Jasmine how's Tia." Tia's mom came in
"They haven't said yet."
"Ms.Evelyn, how are you" Ken hugged her
"I'm better, how you been."
