You looked into my eyes and told me you want me.

Then you turned around and slammed the door on me.

We planned our future together,

We made memories with each other.

The memories will last even though we couldn't.

And because of them, I want you back,

Even though I shouldn't.

You lied to me you betrayed me.

You didn't even have a reason to leave me.

I supported you at your worst when I was at mine too.

I put you first despite you putting me on snooze.

You changed your mind faster than you changed lanes.

You could never drive, but you drove me insane.

You made me look like I was crazy,

For loving you while you were calling other girls your baby.

You made me insecure,

Like I had to change to fit into your world.

Comparing myself to the half-naked girls who got your attention,

I cannot wait until you come back begging me for redemption.

You shouldn't have messed with my feelings,

When you were unsure of yours.

I should have studied for my future,

Instead, I studied yours.

How to give you the best,

When you gave me less.

You left faster then you came,

My car seat still has stains.

I was at my highest,

Now I just want to be high.

To forget about the time I wasted,

To forget about the lies.

I used to smile when I saw your name,

Now I want to cry.

I cannot believe I almost jumped out of a plane with you,

Thinking we would fly.

If you just wanted some you should have told me.

I would've given you the best,

Without letting you hold me.

Instead, you broke all of the promises you told me.

I say I am over you, but I am still losing sleep.

Thinking about everything we could have been.

Thinking of how you were my strength,

Now you make me weak.

How could you see me for that long,

And still not see a thing?
