"Yes, you. Are you not Emma?" She said in a teasing way as she got closer to me. She had an accent that was hard to make out. I have never heard of it before.

I shook my head, "no. My name is Emaline."

She frowned, then shrugged it off. "Eh, close enough." She took my hand and tugged me over to the opposite side of where Liam was.

"Excuse me, but I am actually here with someone. So if you would just-" I tried prying her fingers away from my arm, but she wouldn't even budge. I was seriously getting irritated with this girl every time her fingers tightened around mines.

"Sorry, but we have to talk." Then she turned around and looked she directly in my eye. Her green eyes was practically hypnotizing. I tried to peek inside, but she looked away as if she knew. Did she know? "We just have to talk. Come on."

I was still in shock with her boldness. Do I know even know her? But something about her made me let her drag me to wherever she wanted to go to.

'Liam, I'm going to be back. Don't eat my ice cream!'

'Where are you going? Who is she?' Liam had sounded cautious.

Good question. Make up a lie! 'She's an old friend of mine. We are just going to hang out for a bit. No worries, I'll be back ASAP.'

'If you're not back in ten, I'm hunting you down.'

'Okay. See yah soon.'

'I love you, baby girl.'

I blushed and smiled to myself. The girl looked back at me and rolled her eyes. Does she know what I'm thinking?

'I love you too.'

"Where are we going?" I asked her.

"Into the woods."

I should be running by now, but I wasn't. I weirdly trust her. Besides, she smells different. I think another reason I allowed her to drag me along was because she wasn't human. I tried to take another whiff of her. It's so familiar, but I just can't make what she exactly is because it's so faint. Like the ancestors of a Forest Nymph. But they have gone extinct. Or so they thought. What the hell am I talking about? I don't even know if they are still any Nymphs left in the world, especially in the US. There maybe some in South America. With the amount of forests they have, it's possible. And the accent might explain her origin. I was tempted to ask her if she was from South America, but I refrained from asking. I didn't want her to think I was crazy to ask her out of no where. I'll just ask her another time.

"Okay." She suddenly said.

I didn't even realize we were in the woods until she spoke. I must pay attention more or someone might just kill me and I won't even know it until I am a spirit or something.

"Okay." I copied her. This was getting awkward for me already.

She sighed, shaking her head. Then she began pacing back and forth in front of me. "Let me start with my name. I'm Kolshi, and I'm a forest nymph."

I knew it! "Are you from South America?"

"No. I'm from Europe, the Bialowieża Forest that lies between Poland and Belarus."

I nodded. I actually knew this stuff. "That's one of the largest forest, right?"

"Yes."

"And that explains your accent?"

"My people speaks Kultruaah, our native language. But we were also raised to speak our country's language, Russian and polish, since we are right on the border."
