For those of you who haven't read my first Ineffable Husbands fic, Fallen Angels, Danny is a demon friend of Crowley's who tempts Gabriel a little. StephanieNutz wanted some more of them, so here you go. Above is a quick sketch I did of Danny.

Gabriel was nervous, sitting at a bar, surrounded by people who were definitely not his type. He had managed to sneak out with no one noticing, claiming he was just going for a run, and he hoped no one would recognize him now. It would be an utter shame and embarrassment to be recognized in such an establishment, and with such company as would join him soon. The demon was almost a half of an hour late. But when he did arrive, boy what an entrance he made.

The demon controlled the room, like he owned it. He had that sort of vibe where you knew he was the center of attention whenever he wanted to be. He wore dark blue skinny jeans rolled up just below the knee, a low black v-neck, and a black leather jackets. His wrists sported a variety of bracelets and chains, and the slender silver chain of a necklace hung around his neck, though whatever locket or pendant hung on the chain was hidden by his shirt. His amber eyes glinted in the dark bar. He scanned the place with a gaze that said he could point out every little flaw in each and every person sitting in the bar. He snapped his fingers, and everyone turned away, as if the entire room hadn't just stopped to stare at him. Daniel took a seat next to Gabriel at the bar. He didn't even look at Gabriel, just ordered a screwdriver from the bartender, who he seemed to know very well. "I didn't think you'd come," Danny remarked, still not looking at Gabriel.

"You're late."

"I wanted to see if you'd wait," Danny said, finally turning to Gabriel with a devilish smile. "And you did."

"Damn you demons and your games."

"Already damned, honey."

"Don't call me that," Gabriel said, still very uncomfortable. "I'm the archangel Gabriel."

"Okay, Gabe." Danny rolled his eyes, which were now turquoise.

"I could've sworn your eyes were amber just a second ago," Gabriel remarked.

"I like to keep people on their toes," Danny said, his eyes flashing red for a moment.

"What color are they naturally?" Gabriel asked, sincerely interested. Danny sighed and stopped tensing up, blinking his eyes and letting them return to their natural color: one blue, and one green. "I like them that way," Gabriel said, continuing to stare at the interesting eyes.

"You better not use some cheesy pick-up line related to my eyes," Danny said miserably. "I've heard them all and I hate them."

"Like what?"

"Oh, I don't know. 'Do you have a map? 'Cause I think I just got lost in your eyes.' Stuff like that. I just don't like it when people point it out."

"Why not? I think it's cute." Gabriel choked on the last word. He was in unfamiliar territory here.

"It's weird. Not normal. Just one more little thing to top off my ever-growing list of insecurities." Danny stopped when he realized what he said. He didn't know why he would say that. He didn't talk to people about that stuff. "I mean, I'm not insecure. What would I have to be insecure about? I am confident and badass—"

"It's okay to be insecure. It's normal, actually."

Danny rolled his eyes. "Like you'd know."

"I have my fair share of problems," Gabriel said, as the bartender set Danny's screwdriver in front of him.
