Her unwanted mate

Chapter :: 1

This chapter is kind of short but most of my chapters will be way longer. Enjoy!Amelia ^^

I'd always sworn to myself that I'd reject my mate the second I saw him. Why? Well, because my father was an abusive mate. My old brother was an abusive mate. My old alpha was an abusive mate. As well as the whole pack. And I defiantly was not going to have an abusive mate. So, I swore to reject him the second I saw him.

My father was actually the reason I was kicked out of my old pack and forced to be a rouge. I spent 16 years watching him beat my mother and I couldn't take it anymore. One night, while I was upstairs in my room, I heard him scream at my mother that she wasn't the mate he wanted and he should have rejected her the second they made eye contact. So, I marched my little ass down the stairs and stood right in front of her. He's hit me before plenty of times before because he also abused me, so I was expecting to be hit again, but I wasn't expecting what was about to happen next.

Flashback::

"Move. Before I kill you" he said with a warning growl. "Fuck you!!" I screamed. I was not going to move. I could feel my mother behind me shaking as she held onto my shirt, crying into it. "Amelia. I said move" "I heard what you said you bastard! But I'm. Not. Moving!" I yelled back. At this point my eyes were switching from hazel to bright blue, indicating that my wolf was fighting to come out. She was tearing at the inside of my head begging to get out. "MOVE YOU FUCKING BRAT!!" His eyes were getting dark and I only considered backing down for two seconds before I growled loudly  at him. See, the thing is, most men in this pack believe that women are lower than them. Which is wrong because I've beaten the top warrior, who is a male, twice in a match. But my father was different. He was the alphas beta and it'd be quite the fight but he would win. "I told you! I'm. Not. Movi- Hey! What the fuck!?" He grabbed me by my hair and started dragging me out the door. I soon realized we were headed towards the center of the pack. My wolf was whimpering the whole time. Crying about how we're going to get beaten in front of the whole pack. "NO!! LET ME GO!!" I started screaming for him to let me go and slashing at his hands with my claws. He threw me down in front of everyone. "Gather round people" he said using his beta voice. His eyes fogged over for a few seconds letting me know he was mind linking someone. Soon after there was a huge crowd and the alpha and Luna were there standing beside my father. "I, alpha camin lowd, disconnect, my Betas daughter, Amelia Marie from this pack. Leave." I feel my connection to the pack get slashed through as he said those words. "NOOOOOOO" I scream. I drop to the ground with tears falling down my face.

Flashback over.

And that leaves me to where I am now. A rouge. After that I grabbed a backpack and packed it full with everything I needed with some food and left. Never looking back to the pack that never loved me.

But I'm stronger now. It's been four years living like this now and I couldn't have been happier. Yes, it does get difficult sometimes but  that's the thrill of it. Running at top speed to catch your meal of the day. It's honestly the most accelerating things ever and I love it. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Plus, I get to fight off other rouges. Which is also very amazing.

Most of the time I'm in my wolf form but that doesn't mean that my my human form isn't as strong. I'm perfectly capable of fighting either way so it's fine.

But I absolutely hate the winter and so does my wolf. She says it makes it harder to hunt. I stay in my wolf form most of the winter to stay warm but we still got cold anyway.

This life style is also another reason why I don't want nor need a mate. I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself and I don't need a man beating me and keeping me inside all the time to take that away from me.
