Then August called
“Hello” I answered
“Wuz goodie”
“Nun, chillin. Wassup”
“Mama leavin today, she wan see you”
“Tell her ill come get her”
“Nah, I’ll bring her cause I’m bringin the girls back”
Yes August is back; he told me something about leaving after his mom leaves. Ion really care, my phone started ringing. It was Aidrian.
“Hello”
“Hey, is this Monique?”
“Yes this is she”
“You know who this is”
“Umm, Aidrian”
“Yea, what you got planned for today. He asked
“Well my girls are coming back today, so I’m spending time with them
“Girls? You mean kids?”
“Yea, will that be a problem”
“No, not at all. How many?”
“Two, theyre twins”
“Twin girls, awh man that’s gone be hell”
“Well theyre only 8 months, theyre not givin us too much trouble at Th moment” I laughed and I heard car doors, so I went to unlock the door. I held it open for Aug and Mama Sheila so they could get the girls in. I took Aidrian off speaker.
“Look, my girls are back but I will call you back as soon as I get them settled”
I hung up, locked my phone and put it on the table. I looked uo and August was staring at me
“Wassup” I said
“Who you cakin to” he asked
“August that aint none of your business” mama Sheila said
“Dang ma! Come on let’s get you to the airport, you starting to bug me”
“And don’t call me back outchea when I’m gone either with yo scrawny neck ass” mama Sheila said, I laughed
August looked at me “shut up busta” he said to me
“You shut up and give me my babies” I reached for Aurmani and she turned away
“Looks they both gone be daddy’s babies after all” he said
“Anyway, mama I’m gone miss you helpin out with these munchkins. All five of em”
“Awh, no problem baby. You’re strong you can do it, if you need anything you call me”
“Yes ma’am”
She hugged me; she and Aug gave the best hugs
“Ok, enough of that. Come on mama” Aug. said ruining our moment
“Ugh, I hate you Alsina” I said to him
“Not as much as I luhh you doe” he smirked
“Ugh, come on boy. Bye baby”
“Bye mama, I love you”
“I love you too, bye Mani and Aug. Grammy luhh you”
She walked out of the door and August walked behind her, I followed them. He turned around and kissed my forehead, I have no idea what that was about. I closed the storm door and locked it; I went and called Chandra to see where she was. We agreed to meet somewhere because I couldn’t sit in the house any longer; we met up at Olive Garden.

August and Monique are always fallin out bout something, I’m so tired of this shit. Mel and I had our differences, but we always stuck it out and fought through it. I’m really thinkin bout givin Monique my shop outchea, and takin the girls back home with me. I don’t want my babies in the middle of this mess, and my nieces shouldn’t be in this shit either.
“Hey girl!” I greeted mo and hugged her
“Hey Cha, what you doin back down here” she asked
“Planning this party for Aug, and to move my stuff”
“Move your stuff?”
“Yep, I’m goin back home”
“What about the girls” she asked
“I’m taking them with me”
“Are you serious, does August Know?”
“Nope”
“Well are you gonna tell em”
“Eventually before I’m gone, now roll my nieces over here”
She pushed Th stroller over to me
“Hey auntie’s babies, how yal doin? I wish I could take my Auggie and Mani pooh with me, yes I do” I talked to them and all they did was smile “yal luh ya auntie, cause she loves you. To the moon and back, then back to the moon again”
Monique laughed “so you want be back and forth as much anymore” she asked
“No, because you’re taking pretty good care of the shop from what I hear and you’re there way more than I am. So it’s basically yours” I explained
“Awh Cha I’m gonna miss you, promise you won’t forget about us”
“Forget? Girl I can’t forget about these precious babies right chea”
“Aurmani is crawling”
“What! Mani you crawling now”
“And your brother has August lazy as ever, she don’t wana do anything cause she think Aug just gone hold her all the time”
“That’s August for you honey, he will spoil the hell outta some churin”
“I see that, and speakin of him. Are we gone get to planning this party or nah” she asked
“Oh yea, so this is kinda lik my going back home/birthday party for Aug” I explained
“Ok, so is it gone be a surprise or what” she asked
“Hmmm, ion know. Ion think I want it to bee, but I was thinkin.. You go look for venues, I’ll use Augs D.J. and ill figure out the catering and allat”
“Are you sure that’s all you need me to do” she asked
“Girl yes, you have school, two babies and a job. Let alone the shit you go through with my brudda, that’s enough”
“Ok, cool, and there’s nothin goin on between us”
“Yea, not right now”
