Chapter 2: Some News

Dr. Harvey, a very busy man, is standing before you? No, it can't be.. he must be an imposter or something. He couldn't possibly have time for shenanigans like this. That's when he stepped closer and crouched to your level,

"How are you, [Y/N]?" he asked in a caring tone.

'WHAT THE.. HOW DOES HE KNOW MY NAME? I'M SURE I DIDN'T TELL HIM MY NAME... OR DID I?'

So many questions were running through your mind, but you had to ask him how he knew you.

"H-How do you know m-my name..?" you asked stuttering

After a minute of silence, thats when he chuckled and spoke.

"Huh, I guess your dad never told you about me."

'M-MY DAD? WHAT DOES HE MEAN? ARE THEY RELATED OR SOMETHING?'

"What does this have to do with my d-dad?" you asked with hesitation

"Well, I'll just keep it short." he stated "I'm your dad's cousin, I'm surprised he never told you about me."

'LATE COUSIN?! DAD NEVER TOLD ME ANYTHING!'

"Wait, does that mean you're my.. u-uncle?!" you exclaimed

"Well, technically indirect uncle but.. yes I am you're uncle." he smiled

Unexpectedly, the great Dr. Harvey was your uncle.

"WHAT?!" you screamed

You were lost for words. All you could do is look around this lab-like of a room you're in. You then felt a hand on your arm,

"May I ask you a question?" he asked

"Y-Yes, sir.." you spluttered

"Ah, you don't have to be so formal. I'm you're uncle, right?" he chuckled

"Oh, sorry. What was it you wanted to ask me?" you questioned

"Well, it just that the reason why you're here is because I need you to do something for me. More like an experiment." he spoke

'ME?! OUT OF ALL THE PEOPLE, WHY ME? AND WHAT KIND OF EXPERIMENT?'

"A-An experiment?" you questioned

"Yes, will you do it? It's okay if you don't want to, I'm not forcing you or anything." He stated

Without hesitation, you quickly blurted out

"YES!" with stars in your eyes.

"Oh, that's wonderful! Meet me here again later at 7 PM, I will first make the preparations." he grinned at your enthusiasm

"Sure will do, Uncle H!" you exclaimed as you let your way out of the room "See ya!"

"Hm, that girl really does have the spirit.." he murmured

Walking back to your hotel room, you saw you're mom in total panic. There were police officers and guards around your room. You sighed knowing that this was the typical mom instinct but you didn't know she'd go that far.

After a few minutes, of pranking your mom. You finally went over to her

"Mom, what's the commotion about?" you asked

"MY BABY GIRL! WHERE WERE YOU?! YOU WEREN'T ANSWERING MY CALLS OR TEXTS! I WAS SO WORRIED!" she yelled hugging me tightly

"Mom, I was at the buffet. I was pretty hungry a while ago." you said as you were hugging her back.
