Luke's POV
My heart drops a beat, wondering what Asher could've done to her. My hands hold onto the steering wheel, tight, as I speed to her location.
My eyes search the side of the road, using only my headlights as a guide. I finally see her at the side of the road, sitting down with her arms around her knees.
I park quickly, and race over to her, sitting next to her on the ground. She quickly wraps her arms around my shoulder, crying into my shirt.
"Hey, hey" I whisper "in here now. I here"
I run my hands around her, trying my best to calm her down.
My heart is racing and I can't seem to understand what that man could have done to make someone so strong cry so much.
She lightly pulls away and meets my gaze.
"I'm sorry" she cries "I'm so sorry."
I shake my head, "no, no hunny it's okay. It's okay"
She falls back into me, crying some more.
Once she calms down a bit, I stand up, taking her into my arms. I pick her up and put her into the passenger seat of my car, then I head to the drivers seat.
She leans her head against the window, knees held up against her chest.
What did that man do to her?
