He watched his mother as she lay on the cot in her cell with her back turned to him. She wore peasant cloths since her previous attire was covered in dried crimson red blood. The guard didn't waste any time in opening the cell, he immediately backed away right when he heard the gate screech open.

Oliver slowly approached his mother, he heard her sniffle which meant she had to have been receiving a cold.

"Bring us down some green tea, and make sure to include lemon slices as well," Oliver demanded to the guard that stood right beside the cell of his mothers. The guard looked to his superior the same head guard that gave Oliver a hard time in opening the cell.

"Carry on," He said giving the guard his permission.

He left to fetch Oliver's request and Oliver turned back to his mother who was now facing him.

"Mum?" He called out to her.

"Oh my darling Oliver," She cooed as she smiled weakly at him and slowly rose off the cot on the floor.

They embraced and stood there for a brief 5 minutes till Oliver broke the silence.

"We need to talk."

"Almost over a year has gone by since King Thomas had been murdered by his wife, and debate after debate on who between Prince Oliver and Prince Kaleb, there had become an unanimous decision on who shall take on the dutiful roll as King at the upcoming Coronation." The reporter on the television said as Tanya browsed through her mail.

She sat on the couch as Chloe was at school and Quinton was on her lap playing with his stuffed monkey.

She was going through the countless bills that were for her home, and she'd even received one of the weekly letters from her aunt. She hadn't spoken to Kaleb since he'd flown to Minnesota to get her back after breaking news to her that he was going to be king, this was a week after Oliver had called her, and the time he'd called her and she told him to leave her alone...she hadn't heard a word from him.

Kaleb was so set on getting her to move back to Walleria, to be his wife, and to be his queen, she couldn't give him any answer except the words 'You are dead to me.' He'd left her alone to wallow in his self-pity for a month, before getting back to the task at hand...becoming the king.

No one had seen Robert, apparently he'd relocated himself to Brazil where he thought he couldn't be found and no one would know who he was...but of course someone always knows. But he definitely didn't fret any.

Tanya had moved out of her aunts and uncles, and stayed in her own place in Minnesota. Her other family members of course chewed her ass about the chaos she'd brought to the family after the supposed wedding, and demanded to know why any of them weren't invited...as if she'd give a rats ass about their opinions.

Oliver and Natalia divorced, but their son Calvin couldn't have been a bigger blessing, Natalia had moved into her own mansion in London and Oliver got to see his son often even with all the chaos going on with monarchy, the only children he never saw...were his son and daughter but Tanya made sure to send him pictures and kept him up to date on their health, which of course he was thankful for. The country had almost fallen if it weren't for Oliver taking over, which gained him brownie points considering Kaleb knew nothing about trade, and knowing all the right people.

The queen was sentenced to 24 years to life with chance of probation, of course Oliver visited her once a day even if it were an important event going on, he would stop the world just to visit his mother, no one could take that away from him.

Life just went on.

Tanya came across a shiny red envelope wrapped in a gold ribbon. She furrowed her brows confused as she set the rest of the mail on the coffee table and opened it.

The contents inside were beyond the words of shocking.

'Prince Oliver Sterling here by requests the presence of Tanya Baltimore to attend his upcoming Coronation...'

The invitation provided a time and date, and even told her to RSVP. Her mouth was gaped in surprise. She hadn't received a letter from Oliver, she wasn't even sure he'd received her pictures of the children, he must've cause how else could he have gotten her address, unless he had someone hunt her down again. Which was likely.

When Quinton began trying to pry the letter out of Tanya's grasp she was snapped out of her thoughts.

Looks like Kaleb failed to complete his mission, the only question now would be...will she step a foot back in Walleria to attend...or would she tear the letter to shreds and forget he'd even sent her something. She had to think fast considering the Coronation was to be in 3 days' time.
