Chapter 15

Ravana's POV
I slowly get off the ground and walk over to Alex's body
Summer and Cam walk over
"Ravana..." Summer types "what are you?"
"I am the devil's daughter-" I start summer and Cam gasp scooting away
"My mom is an angel. Their love was never allowed but they never cared they were blinded by their love for each other. They had my brother and me. I was the golden child I was the favorite and I was too blind to see him being neglected. He always tried to impress my parents but nothing worked. Surprisingly he never seemed to hate me or blame me for our parents not loving him as much." I say
"But he seems so mean now." Cam says
"That's because he didn't escape-" I start but I am cut off my summer
"What do you mean escape?" Summer asks
"My mom left my dad because my grandpa forced her to leave. She had to leave me and my brother behind. My father blamed me and my brother. Mostly me though. I reminded him of my mom. He took most of his anger out on me. Sometimes my brother but not as much. Then one day my dad told me to get dressed up because we were having an important guest. Turns out that important guest would be my future husband. I was only 12 at the time, he was 15. That was when I finally had enough I told my brother I was leaving and that if he wanted to he could leave too. He was scared of getting caught and punished. I took the chance. I was put into the foster care system considering I was a kid wandering the streets. The years went by and I hadn't heard from my brother till he came to my school. I still haven't heard from my dad yet. And then the dude that attacked Alex is my future husband." I say
I close my eyes and start to chant
"Heile diesen Mann, heile ihn jetzt" (heal this man heal him now."
Alex sits up suddenly.
"Ravana you're ok." He says will hugging me
"For now at least." I reply
"What happened?" He asks
"Aiden poisoned you." I reply
"He couldn't of poisoned me. He didn't make me drink anything or touch me. The only people who can poison without touching are witches, fairies, some elves I think... angels and de-" he cuts himself off "you're not telling me..." he looks at the for confirmation."
I slowly nod my head.
"He's a demon..." he states "if he's a demon why does he want you. Aren't you a human?" He asks
"I am a half demon half angel." I say
"That still doesn't tell me why he wants you." He says
"He's my future husband." I say mumbling the last part
"He's your what?" He says through gritted teeth
"He's my future husband." I say once again
"Why would you want to marry him. I'm way better." He says
"It's by force it's not like I want to marry him. I was engaged to him when I was young. I guess my dad is tired of me being on the run." I say
