THE DATUM.
An original roleplay, loosely based off Norse mythology, the hunger games and the Long Earth series.
The Datum is where all inter-world matters are settled. The Stage is the arena where the Datum games take place, and it's almost a pilgrimage to go there. The law courts are located here, where they deal with high-profile or inter-world cases. This is a transport centre, as the only place where one can travel across the Runeworlds. Trading across the Runeworlds all takes place at the Datum and for many it's a chance to communicate with those in the other worlds. Those from Tyr need a permit to access the Datum, where the citizens of Hagal and Freyr can come and go as they wish.
When the Datum Games is not taking place, small fights take place on the Stage and many feuds are settled here.
The Datum Games are open for anyone up till the age of twenty. Entering the Games gives you respect. Being selected for the Games gives your family enough money to live comfortably for a while. Winning the Games? You gain the status of the Ruler of the Runeworlds for a year and more money and power than you know what to do with. A new Ruler comes into power every year.
