"Will you talk to me?"

I looked up at the woman in front of me. Her brunette hair and emerald eyes fit her face perfectly. She was wearing a long doctor coat and some casual business clothing underneath. The name 'Dr. Anderson' was written on her name tag that was loosely hung on the breast pocket of her coat.

"Miss?"

The woman looked professional, but the expression on her face deemed her as impatient. The mahogany desk covered up the bottom half of her figure, but she was tall and lean. It allowed me to see the upper half of her body, but yet made me wonder if she's holding her fist in anger at me.

"(First Name) (Last Name)?"

The windows behind her were blinding, but the shades covered some of the light ever so slightly. The sun was out and bright, but the dark lighting in the room proved otherwise. What is outside?

I stood up from my comfy chair and walked towards the window, walking past her in the process.

I leaned to touch the shades of the window.

Then,

my head started pounding.

I clutched my head, collapsing onto my knees.

"Lily," I cried, tears streaming down my face.

Everything happened all at once. All the memories flashed. Me picking out the cards out of the deck already gave me warning signs enough from the beginning.

I hiccuped, continuously wiping the tears away.

I breathed in, trying to make at least one word come out.

"Give me a deck of cards please," I whimpered, holding my head in my hands still.

Dr. Anderson panicked, but looked at me in a pissed off way.

"Sit back in your chair," she demanded, crossing her arms.

I breathed out, slowly picking myself up from the ground.

"NOW!" Dr. Anderson screamed.

The tears poured out more, making me slowly trudge back into my comfy chair.

I fell back down into the gray cushion and grabbed a tissue from the box, blowing my red nose into it.

"Now, where were we?" She asked, tapping her fingers onto the desk.

Sighing, I threw the tissue into the trash which was conveniently in the corner of the room.

The clock was ticking awfully loud and I couldn't help but let my body soak into the sound. Everything was so distracting to me, but yet so intriguing.
