Narrator P.O.V

You wake up, not knowing where you are, who you are, or what your purpose in life was. The only thing you could remember is your name. You look around, only to find this mysterious empty place, except for two other people. It seems like you have been teleported(?) out of your own world, because of the pile of fluff on top of your head and the long furry tail coming out of your lower back.

A "H-hello" comes out of your mouth, sounding dry, in need of some water.
"Who are you...who am I?". A voice comes from one corner of the room. "Where are we" another voice was heard. "It seems we must've been teleported(?) out of our own, world because uh.....look for yourselves" they stared at each other. With the very dim light it was hard to see, but could still make out the silhouettes of these unnatural features. (Btw they moved closer to each other).

(Y/N) P.O.V

One had big fluffy ears that were white and black, that sat on her head, which was covered with dirty-blond locks and a black tail with an orb at the end, supposedly for making light. She also had some medium sized white and black wings. Her eyes were also pretty color with a one being pastel green and the other pastel yellow.

The other girl had ears that sat on her pitch black hair and a tail that represents a wolf. Her ears were black with red tips, same with her tail.
On her face she had some freckles and her eyes were a baby blue.

'So all I know is my name and that I'm in a totally different place...just great'
"So um, what's your guy's name?" I asked. 'Because if I'm gonna be stuck here with these two I'd at-least want something to call them by'.

"Well from what I know, the name's Ozzie" the girl now I know as Ozzie answered.

"Shadow, or at least I think" the other one said.

"Ok so, what I remember my name is....(Y/N)".

"Ok, now that we have the names down, we need to find a way out of here."

Startled by the sudden noise I look up to see a screen. "Huh, where'd that come from?".

"Hello, welcome to my realm" the entity on the screen said. "Huh, realm?". "Yes, as you can see," They point to my head. "You're not in your own world". I already knew that.

They continued, " If you wish to go home you must escape my maze. But be warned, it will not be easy". My gaze averted off the screen and over to the other girls who looked somewhat frightened by this thing's sudden appearance.

"In my maze, there are a whole lot of different creatures. Once you go in there's no turning back. But let me remind you that no one has made it out alive." (If you have read 'Children of Icarus' than you might get an idea of where I'm going with this).

And with that a shiver went down my spine. I looked back over at the other girls to see them in a more shocked state than they were already in.

"Some of these monsters are edible to eat, but I will not tell you which ones. You must use your survival instincts and find the edible ones. There are also Fruits, Berry's and other food within this maze. But it's not just any ordinary maze. Some of the plants are alive. That's why I'm giving you a choice out of these weapons. Choose wisely, you only get one each. If they break, you'll have to make more". They said.

"I've set up a little shack somewhere in the maze. But you must find it. Along the sides of the maze, time to time, there'll be little holes in the wall, big enough for you to fit through, but they're almost invisible. So make sure to keep an eye out. Well, time to choose your weapons". Three weapons were laid out on a table. One being a Sword, one being a Mace and the other being a Bow and some Arrows. Me being me I chose the long range weapon..the bow and arrows. Ozzie took the mace and that left Shadow with the sword. After that they started to talk again.

"Now that you have chosen your weapons, it's time to go, and hopefully won't die in the first few hours". I gulped...is it really that bad?.

"Good luck....you're gonna need it." That made me even more nervous.
And with that, the screen disappeared.

To my right, the wall opened up into what seemed like the entrance of the maze. "Well here goes nothing". I started to walk into the maze, Ozzie and Shadow close behind.

-----Time Skip------

"Great not even ten minutes into the maze and there's a monster....just great". Sigh, well here goes nothing.

I get out my bow and take an arrow. I aim and shoot, the arrow lit on......FIRE!!!! Well this is gonna be interesting.

Ozzie got into a fighting stance with her mace and so did Shadow. " READY GIRLS!" I shouted. "Um...yep totally" Ozzie replied, horror evident in her voice.
"Let's get this other with". Shadow said, wanting to kill the monster.

We were...when I say we, it was me and Shadow, Ozzie was too scared and stayed back. We were attacking this thing, when we hear Ozzie scream, we looked back to see another one of these things appear right in-front of her. She used her wings to get away from it. But to no avail, she fell. It went to attack her, but she blocked it with her mace. Since she was good, we continued fighting with the monster in-front of us.

---After the "Exciting" battle---

"That-" huff "was-" huff "tiring". I managed to say "Agreed" they both said in unison. "We need to set up camp if we want to survive at least one night" I suggested. "I'll go find something to start a fire" Ozzie said
"And I'll find something to make beds" Shadow offered. " Great and I'll make a clearing for the fire and find some edible berries". I chimed in.

Wow first chapter. I feel proud at how long it is.....over 1000 words.
Not all the chapters will be over 1000 but I'll try to make them that long.
But anyway hoped you liked the first chapter.
