"Thomas, come on."

All Teresa hears are mutters as she sighs, coming to see beside him. She tries to pull the duvet to reveal his face but there's no use as he pulls it back over.

The brunette had been like this for days now. He hadn't moved from the tear-stained bed sheets and according to his blue-eyed friend, he doesn't plan on moving. His eyes burning from the salty water and his breath short and shaky was the state that he couldn't get out of.

"Thomas, this is getting to be too much now. It's been what... two weeks? You need to get over this." and her reply was silence.

Shaking her hand, she gets up and pushes her dark hair back from her face. Thomas knew that she was sick and tired of this but what was he supposed to do?

Newt had broken his heart and he knew there was nothing that could fix it.

With depressing music blasting through his headphones, the blonde laid in his bed with his eyes closed. Nothing could drain out the overpowering thoughts in his mind with the one name repeating over and over again.

Thomas.

Not realising that his friend had even come in, he felt a weight next to him. He turned to find Minho, his eyes full of pity, causing the blonde to roll his eyes at him.

"Don't throw sass at me, I know that you're thinking about him." the Asian scoffs, moving to lay in the same position as Newt.

"I don't dwell."

"Yeah, you don't. But then again, you used to not fall in love and you did with⁠—"

"Don't say it. Thomas broke my heart and I know there's nothing that can fix this."

sounds very confusing, i know but i promise that soon or later, it will all make sense! the style of the chapters will be short - it's kinda always been the thing that i would tend towards :)

the response that i have got from all of you is absolutely amazing! i am soo thankful and grateful for each and every one of you, you all are too kind <3 thank you all :)

but first chapter, hopefully it wasn't too disappointing. but i love you all so much and i hope you all are having a lovely day!!
