big time skip

zach and jack having been on really good terms. ever since he moved into jacks home they've been thriving. jacks mom has stayed home and of course that helped a whole lot for jack.

daniel and jonah finally got back together back in November. christina and corbyn, tate and gabbie are amazing. so of course the friend group is thriving as well.

but it's may now which means exam times. also almost time to be accepted into college, and that's a very stressful time. especially for the friend group...

jacks pov

"no mom i don't want to go to school!! it's stressful and i'm gonna fail these exams" i cried

"honey you are going to do amazing don't worry...you are smart and you know it" she reassured me

"baby what's wrong" zach asks as he walks down the stairs

"i can't. i can't go to schools" i say as i throw my hands up and plop down on the couch

"love you are smart and an amazing person you can do it. i believe in you if anything i'm gonna fail" he says and i smile.

a few tears slip out of my eyes and zach wipes them away with his thumbs. he smiled as he places a quick kiss on my lips.

"okay now can we go" he asks and i nod and smile

"i'll see you after school" my mom laughs

we get in the car and drive to school. we don't talk much, i can only think about the stupid exams

once we get there our friends are waiting on us, gabbie and daniel still looking over the practice book, tatum and christina talking about something, jonah and daniel standing and just watching it all go down.

"jack zach finally" jonah says as he walks towards us

"tatum and christina are so worried ab-" corbyn gets cut off

"oh my god guys i'm going to fail" i say to my friends as i walk towards the girls and daniel

3rd person

"he's been like this all morning" zach says to jonah and corbyn

"i don't see why, they are worrying so much. all of them are so smart. if anything we should be worried about you" jonah says and zach smacks him

"honestly though. i don't get it. maybe we should try and make them feel better or something. in the least sexual way possible that is" corbyn says as he rolls his eyes towards zach

zach laughs and nods. the 3 boys walk back over to their friends.

corbyn sets beside christina, jonah sits beside daniel, tatum moved next to gabbie, zach pulls jack over to another bench.

"jack love, please stop stressing, after the exams this week we can do whatever you want, okay?" zach says as he places his hand on jacks thigh as his thumb rubs circles on his skin

"okay. but zach its stressful you know" jack says with a sigh

"i know love but you can do it. now we got to go to class, come on" zach says with a smile as he helps jack up and they interlace their hands and go to class along with their friends

next week

it was a long week of exams that consisted of, going to school, testing, going home, eating, studying, sleeping. repeat.

that's all the friends did the whole week. but exams are over which means summers almost here. but prom is also next week.

the friends had already gotten their attire so they were really excited.

the squad were spending a whole lot of time together for the soul fact they would soon be separated. it's heartbreaking honestly but it's okay.

prom couldn't come soon enough for the group of friends. it's going to be a memorable time
