Cato And Clove The End Is Near

Chapter 1

When I wake up I feel a cold draft in the room. I shiver. Mom must have forgotten to turn on the heater. I get up & look outside. Bright white snow is falling to the ground. It reminds me of when I was little. Playing snowball fights, making snowmen & forts. I sigh. I miss those days. I walk to my closet & grab a sweater, almost the same color as the snow. I grab a skirt & some boots. After I get dressed I walk to the mirror & put on some mascara & pink lipstick. I straighten my hair & go down stairs. I see my mom. "Mother" I say. "Yes?" She asks. "You forgot to turn on the heater this morning" "I was wondering why it is so cold" she replies back. I run back upstairs & go to the heater.  

I click the on button & put it on 80. I run back downstairs. A minute later I feel the house warming up. "Thank you sweetheart" my mom tells me. "Your welcome" I tell her. I sit down at the table & mom gives me pancakes. I smile & start eating. When I finish eating I just sit there staring out the window. My mom collects my plate & starts washing it. "Clove?" My mom asks. "Yes?" I reply back. "Aren't you supposed to meet Cato at his house?" "Oh yea" I say. I get up & run out the door. "CLOVE!" My mom shouts. "YES?" I shout back. "YOU FORGOT YOUR COAT!" I moan. It doesn't look that cold. "Don't want you to freeze out there" she tells me kissing my head. "Uh-huh" I say. I run outside. "HAVE FUN!" I hear my mom shout. "I WILL!" I shout back.  

I get about 10 feet past my house when I realize the snow has turned into a blizzard. I pull my coat to my ears & run to Catos house. I knock on his door. He opens it & kisses me. "Hello" he says softly. "Hello" I say back. He picks me up bridal style surprising me, making me scream. I start laughing. "Cato let me go!" I say laughing. "Not yet!" He says smiling. He takes me to the living room & puts me on his couch. "Take off your coat" he tells me. "No" I say. "It's cold" "No it isn't" he says. "It's warm" I take off my coat, expecting it to be cold, finding it surprisingly warm. I give my coat to Cato. "Thank you madam" he says smiling. "Your welcome sir" I say giggling. He runs to a room & comes back. "So..." He says. "What?" I ask. "Wanna watch tv?" He asks me. "Sure" I say. He turns on the tv. It's on a channel of the Hunger Games replays. 

I close my eyes & hide them behind my hands. Remembering our last day in the arena, Glimmer screaming falling & cracking her head open. Marvel getting eaten up by the mutts. Then me falling, having Cato catch me & save me. Katniss trying to kill me, Cato pushing her to the mutts, lover boy slipping & falling. I hear the channel change. I look up at the tv. "Cato" I say. "Yes?" He asks. "I don't feel well" I tell him. He picks me up, puts my coat on me & takes me home.

Chapter 2

 I wake up the next day. I get up & go to the bathroom, hot & sweaty. I take a shower, get dressed & brush my teeth. I go downstairs & eat breakfast. I'm half way to the door when my mom tells me to brush my hair. I run back upstairs & brush my hair. I put on makeup & take off my nail polish. I'm going to get my nails done anyways. I go downstairs & walk outside. The snow has melted & everything's muddy. I start walking to the salon first, I decided to dye my hair. I enter & sit down. They ask me what color I want my hair & I simply reply back, any color. They dyed my hair the color foxfaces was. I get up & tell them thank you, I like it. Secretly wishing they had done another color.

I walk to the nail place to get my nails done. When I enter i hear a squeall. "OMG ITS CLOVE SEVINA!" Then I hear a loud thud. I turn & see the girl who was squealling has fainted. I go over & help her up. I give her some water & she stares at me. "You-you-you-you-" "shhhh" I tell her. "calm down" she calms down. "You come here?" She asks me. "I come here every 2-3 weeks" I tell her. "I'm guessing you barely started working" I say. "How do you know?" She asks me. "Well" I say. "1. Your the only one here & 2. You got excited when you saw me" The girl smiles. "So" she says. "How do you want your nails doen?" "Any way you want to do them" I tell her. She takes me to a seat & gets ready.

I watch her paint my nails green, then paint skulls on them. When she's done I'm impressed. "Wow" I say. "What?" she asks. "Your a good painter" I say staring at my nails. She blushes. "Thank you'' she tells me. I smile. "Your welcome" I reply back. I leave the shop smiling & I start walking to Catos house.

Chapter 3

The next day i wake up in Catos bed. I find him staring at me. "Good morning'' He say kissing me on the forehead. ''Good morning'' I reply back. Cato smiles. ''You are very beautiful when your sleeping'' he says. ''Well thank you'' I tell him. I go to Ctao & lay on his chest. We just lie there for a few minutes until Cato says something. ''What?'' I ask him. ''I said that todays the victory tour'' he says. ''Oh'' i say quietly. I get up & walk to Catos door.
