Munching away on your lunch you stared at the other people in the cafeteria. Golden Eyed Husky and Mighty Ray was having an eating contest of some sort, most of the other members of Second Squad was spectating the ongoing competition and cheering the animal on. The rest were minding their own business. Woo the Wise and Apetrully were busy talking about something. Lady Green and three sailor brothers were discussing something with a helping of sushi each. Your gaze refocused on the competition, as you stared at them without any interest.

"Mind if I sit here?" a voice asked as a stool scrapped against the floor as it was pulled back.

You looked at the direction of the voice and saw that it was none other than Mystique Sonia from the First Squad, she sat down and smiled at you. You could feel your heart skip a beat, she was just so beautiful.

"Well, not at all!" you replied, smiling at her, "I mean you already took a seat so."

She couldn't help but giggle a bit, Yaksha glaring down at you a bit, that pink creature was the embodiment of envy. It was as if it knew you had strong feelings towards the other female.

"Well, I figure we can talk a bit more, since Apetrully did put us together for the next mission." she continued to smile at you as she spoke.

"Oh! Oh yeah!" you nodded, a bit disappointed that it was mainly the reason why she sat with you, "It must be weird not working with the rest of your squad for a bit."

"Eh," she gave a slight shrug, "I mean I'm getting a break from Mighty Ray over there." she jabbed a finger into his direction, just as he looked up, mouth full of food.

"I can see what you mean." you replied slowly, in wonder that he managed to pull that off.

"Yeah, he sometimes just drains every drop of energy you have out of you." she leaned into her hands, rubbing her face a bit.

"And that's why you're with me!" you beamed, "Trust me! This mission will be the perfect break, well, mission break from him!"

She looked at you through her fingers, "Yeah, it may not be a pedicure or tinting, but I'll take it."

"Great!" you clasped your hands together, "I'm looking forward to the mission!"

She extended her hand and you took it, shaking it a bit, "Well show them what girl power really is!"

The two of you let go, laughing a long the way. How you loved the sound of her laugh too, it just made you feel good.

When the day finally arrived to embark on the, mission. You and Mystique Sonia stood side by side near the turtle launching platform. Woo the Wise, Apetrully and Parrot King stood opposite from the two of you.

Apetrully stepped forward, his gaze quickly going over the two of you, "As you two may know, this is only a scouting mission." he started carefully, "There has been reports of unusual amount of activity coming from the Eagles and Chameleons, which many of the reports claim that Chameleon queen has grown to the size of a behemoth!"

You widened your eyes a bit, that couldn't be true. Mystique Sonia tensed a bit besides you, and you brushed your hand against hers for a sense of comfort.

He paced a bit before, most likely getting his emotions under control. For a commander, he was rather soft hearted and an emotionally driven person, which usually led him to be captured many many times, but that's what made him strong, he was a good and kind being, which made the inhabitants of Big Green listen to his orders more.
