Proposal

It was a bright and sunny day. It had been 4 years since the war with Gaia. Leo had come back and everything was perfect. Well, except for the fact that Annabeth and Percy were still dating.

Annabeth sat on her bed and sighed. She had been living in Sally's house for a year now. She wished that Percy would hurry up and propose to her. That Seaweed Brian! She wanted to live with him, the man of her dreams, the love of her life. However, that day never seemed to come. Annabeth got up and went downstairs. Percy was sitting at the table. When he saw her, he immediately stood up.

"Hey... What's up?" Percy asked

Annabeth frowned. Percy hardly talked to her like that.

"What's wrong, Seaweed Brain?"

"Well... the thing is... I don't wanna be your boyfriend anymore."

Annabeth could feel tears welling up in her eyes. She tried her best to fight them back.

"What? But... why?"

Percy reached into his pocket and pulled out a little velvet box. He got down on one knee and opened the box. Inside was the most beautiful ring Annabeth had ever seen. There was a sapphire in the middle of the gold band, their names carved into the gold band.

Percy smiled his troublemaker smile which Annabeth has come to love.

"Because I want you to be my wife. Will you marry me, Annabeth Chase?"

Tears were now streaming down her cheeks. They weren't sad tears though. They were tears of joy. "Yes!" Annabeth replied happily.

Percy stood up and slipped the ring on her finger. She flung her arms around him and they kissed.
