Respect
When at first you forget to flow
Just be the wind, just learn to blow
And if in doubt sometimes you find
You're better off if you go in blind.
When something on's your trigger
Just let it go, don't let it linger
And when you do sometimes you find
You'll move ahead and never behind.
When disappointing news arrives
Just take it in, remember good times
And if you're sad sometimes you find
You'll feel alive but in a bind.
When in a bind, and if you're kind
Sometimes you'll gain a good surprise
In life you give to learn the price
For the cost of a good state of mind.
When in life you stop to expect
You learn the meaning of respect
Amazed you'll be when you find
You gain tough skin, one with rind.
