2 ~ New Students

"listen here yuta, your ass owes me money so pay for my drink" you heard jaehyun yell. You, jaehyun, and yuta decided to visit a small cafe after classes but your two friends somehow ended up arguing.

You sighed while picking up your drink and started walking leaving them to argue. You knew they weren't fighting for real so you decided to find a place to sit. You weren't really watching where you were going and you slammed right into someone. You felt your cold drink run down your shirt and you looked up to see a very tall male in front of you. 

He also had your drink all over him and you quickly apologized "I'm so sorry" you said with pure distress in your voice while you looked around for some napkins. You managed to get some from the small table near you and you quickly handed some to the guy you ran into.

The tall male looked down at you and simply laughed while he took the napkins from you. He began wiping his shirt but spoke "don't worry about it, everyone is a little clumsy sometimes" you felt your heart race slightly when you looked up at him, he was very attractive. 

You watched some others quickly approach the guy you ran into"geez yukhei can you be any more clumsy".

You were trying to wipe your shirt until another unfamiliar face turned to you "I'm sorry he spilt his drink on you, it must be because he is nervous. My friends and I just arrived here and we are starting school tomorrow"

You were surprise and knew that they probably assumed their friend had run into you but you quickly corrected him "no I was actually the one who spilt my drink on him"

Then the tall man you ran into screamed "see it wasn't me sicheng, relax"

"what's going on-oh yikes" yuta said when he walked over and saw that your shirt was now stained with your drink, jaehyun simply chuckled from beside him at how clumsy you were.

You turned towards the three guy and you decided to introduce yourself "my name is y/n. These two are my friends yuta and jaehyun. I am really sorry about your shirt"

"I'm sicheng" the one who apologized to you for his friend was smiling lightly.

Then the one you bumped into smiled as well "my name is yukhei. Also don't worry it's not a big deal". You felt your face heat up when he smiled at you again but you quickly turned your attention to the third male. 

"my name is renjun" the last guy spoke in a soft voice, he seemed very shy. He wouldn't even look you in the eye.

"wow I can't believe you're going to our school" yuta said with excitement looking directly at sicheng. You smirked knowing the male was already whipped for him. 

"yeah it's going to be a little hard for these two to adjust, especially renjun he's super shy" sicheng sighed. You noticed renjun pouted slightly and he seemed upset. You felt bad for him so you smiled and held out your phone.

"well we should exchange numbers so if you guys ever need help you can call us" you pointed towards you, jaehyun, and yuta. You wanted to help them feel more comfortable at school but you could also tell yuta liked sicheng so you decided to try to help him out.

Yuta practically threw his phone at sicheng when they all agreed to exchange numbers and you laughed, yeah you were still a good matchmaker.

"y/n do you want some of my cookie I don't think I can finish it" that was definitely a lie, in the past two weeks you had known yukhei he was always eating massive amounts of food. He was similar to you in that sense. 

You blushed slightly wondering if he was trying to be nice to you but when you turned your head your eyes widened. Yukhei had ten cookies stacked up on the table and you sighed.

"yeah sure" you said and grabbed a cookie from him slightly bummed since you thought he was giving you special treatment. 

You were currently sitting with yukhei, jaehyun, yuta, and sicheng. Renjun had extra work he had to finish so he didn't sit with you guys today. You had all become fairly close, especially yuta and sicheng.

Well more like yuta gave sicheng heart eyes every second and sicheng refused. Renjun was also still shy but he was a lot better than when you first met him.

You were eating your lunch and you began stuffing food into your mouth like normal until you heard a voice

"you're y/n right, the matchmaker" you chocked on your food and began violently couching. You noticed a red haired male was staring at you and you chugged your water. Nobody had come to you for relationship advice in a long time and nobody had called you a matchmaker in a long time. When you started school that snake taeyong practically claimed that he was matchmaker the first day.

You stared at him in confusion and surprise "um yeah".

"great my friend thinks that you are going to be his best chance at being in a relationship with this impossible to talk to guy. He said his older sister used to go to school with you and you helped her out with her current boyfriend"

"woah you're famous" yukhei said in awe but you simply looked at the unfamiliar red head in disbelief.

"my names haechan by the way, the person who needs help is my friend jaemin. He has a huge crush on huang renjun"

You heard yuta spit out his drink at the familiar name and you chocked on air. Renjun was impossible, he was extremely shy and you couldn't even imagine him in a relationship. 

Then it hit you, you looked up at taeyong across the cafeteria and you felt it a spark of pure happiness.

That's it, if you got renjun to date this jaemin character then taeyong would have to admit you were the number one matchmaker once and for all. 

You stood up from your seat and you hugged haechan "you are my savior, of course I'll help your friend" you were screaming in pure joy. 

The new students were officially a blessing, you were finally going to beat lee taeyong.

Taeyong watched y/n from across the cafeteria, she was screaming and hugging an unfamiliar red head. Taeyong had noticed how her group of friends had grown and he wondered if this was a new addition.

Then a unfamiliar male approached his table

"Hi I'm mark, I heard you were the matchmaker of the school or something" taeyong couldn't help but smirk knowing that the guy in front of him called him the matchmaker and not y/n.

"well my friend jeno needs help, he likes a guy named huang renjun but he is super shy" taeyong knew that name, he was the shy new student that hung around y/n.

Then it hit him, if he somehow got the shyest guy he knew to date with someone y/n would have to admit that he was the number one match maker.

Taeyong smiled and simply replied "of course I'll help your friend"
