I was in 8th grade when I realized I was also into girls. It was all new to me. You were only my second crush on a girl, but I really liked you.
The class we shared that year was one of my favorite classes even though I hate the subject. Seeing you everyday really helped. You were one of the reasons I actually looked forward to school everyday.
This past year we started talking again. At first I just thought of you as a really close friend, but at some point my crush began to come back.
I'm out now, you said you thought I was straight. Everyone did. You admitted you had a crush on me and I admitted I had one on you. We both thought the other was straight.
It's unfortunate that we didn't realize that we were into each other. I wish we did. I think we could have been great together.
We'll see what the future brings I guess.
