Peter POV

I sat there at my desk, humming to myself quietly, a pocky stick hanging from my mouth as I doodled in my little notebook. The school was finally over for Summer, and I can relax in Foster Care.

Well, I'm more of an orphan if anything. My parents and aunt and uncle died years ago, in a car crash, simple as that. I've been in the 'home' since I was four. I was only put into a foster home once, but...never again. I tapped my pen, trying to think of something when I heard footsteps coming up the stairs.

This may seem odd, considering my room is at the far end of the hallway and the stairs are on the other side. When I was 7, I was bitten by this weird spider, and now I have spider-like powers. That including heightened senses and such. It makes life a whole lot easier to hear things and sense things coming from far away.

I quickly pulled the pocky stick out of my mouth and spun around in my chair just as my door opened. There stood Ms. Blair. She always had this unamused look on her face and she is by far, the meanest lady working here. She always has her lips pulled up with attitude. Actually, when I was younger, Ms. Blair had just started working in the foster home and she was faced with some whiny babies. This is probably why she always has a disgusted look, which is what caused her to get so many wrinkles.

Whenever Aunt May told me 'Fix your face or it'll stay like that' she wasn't kidding; take Ms. Blair as an example.

"Yes, ma'am?" I said politely.
"What are you doing?" Ms. Blair narrowed her eyes at my notebook. "s-sketching," I stuttered, putting my head down a little. She hates when I do anything related to drawing. She says only little kids should draw, not 13-year-olds.

"Well pack your things and get yourself together, someone wants to foster you." Her voice was scratchy and sounded almost relieved. She hates me that much.

"Yes, ma'am." She cut her eyes at me before leaving. Someone wanting to foster me isn't something I hear every day. Only once and that's something I don't want 'that' to happen again. I'm a good kid, with a clean record, but whenever anyone even tries to get me I act like a fucking toddler. I throw myself to the ground and scream and kick, so people will rethink trying to take me.

I wonder if that's why it's rare that anyone tries to take me. Are my little 'tantrums' actually told to any person the dwell over my profile? Because if so, this person trying to foster me has another thing coming. Hopefully, I won't have to throw myself on the floor before they realize taking me in is a mistake.

I simply stuffed all my clothes into my suitcase and hauled it down the hall. Some kids were still in their rooms, probably sleeping, and one kid opened his door, rubbing his eyes and looking at me with a frown. "Again?"

I only smiled. "Don't worry, this won't take long." The boy nodded before closing his door.

I made a commotion with my suitcase as I came down the stairs. My suitcase is only so old, yet so sturdy, the wheels are extremely squeaky. Yes, I am completely capable of picking it as if it were the size of a house cat but that wouldn't look human.

Everyone here knows the sound of my suitcase, and followed by my commotion were the sound of the young girls giggling from their room. I do love to entertain them.

Thump squeak

Thump squeak.

And so on.

Once I reached the first floor I began to walk to the living room where the awaiting 'parent' sits.

Squeak

Squeak

Squeak

I brought my arms up, ready to start jumping around roughly when I heard--

"Hello, Mr. Parker."

I paused and looked up to see, the Tony Stark sitting there with this small smile. "It's nice to meet you."

Feeling lightheaded, I leaned against my heavy suitcase. "Wha-wait its-oh my god," My voice was high with shock. I cleared my head, holding my hands out. "I think you made a mistake, sir, I'm Peter Parker. Are you looking for someone else with the name, Parker?"

Tony looked smug. "No, I know who I picked." I looked at Ms. Isabella, the nice worker here, and she only smiled at me, her hands by her side. With only one look, I could tell her fingers were crossed, hoping I wouldn't have another fake tantrum.

"Well, Peter, I believe you already know who I am," Tony said, standing up and holding out his arms in all of his glory. "Y-Your Tony Stark, billionaire, genius, playboy, philanthropist," I said smoothly before putting my head down in embarrassment. "I couldn't have said it better myself, kid."

Mr. Stark took one step closer before placing a hand on my shoulder. My breathing got caught in my throat.

Don't faint, don't faint.

"Well, we better get going, I can't keep Happy waiting." I nodded dumbly, grabbing my suitcase and trotting behind, Mr. Stark. There was his nice black car. His bodyguard, Happy, walked out and promptly took my suitcase away and putting it in the trunk. I got in and sat down in silence. Happy got in and started to drive and Mr. Stark looked at me.

"So, Peter, how are your grades."

Heh, I am going to die...
