I was sat in my bedroom with my headphones in, Roadtrip was blasting into my ears when I heard a knock
"come in!"
I yelled and my mum walked in, she sat on the bed and I took my headphones out
"can you come downstairs?"
She asked and I nodded, slowly getting up and following her downstairs and into the kitchen, I almost screamed when I saw him standing there
"Ella, this is Sonny"
My mum said and I gave her the look to say 'I fucking know who he is!' and she smiled
"we are together"
She blurted out and I almost choked
"he's like half your age mum, what are you thinking!?"
I screamed at her and she gave me a sturn look
"I can never be fucking happy can I!"
She screamed back and I gritted my teeth
"not when it's him you can't"
I said and ran up to my bedroom and slammed the door
I punched the wall and laid down on the bed, I heard another knock on my door and I was expecting it to be my mum so I ignored it, the door then opened and sonny walked in, I immediately felt like crying, the one person that made me happy has now been taken away by my mum
"Ella, can we talk?"
He asked and I slowly nodded, he sat down on my bed and smiled slightly
"I know you don't like the fact that I'm with your mum and if that's going to make you unhappy then I don't want to do it"
He said calmly and I smiled slightly
"I guess I don't like it that much... But with you being with my mum that means I'll get to see you a lot"
I replied and he smiled more
"exactly"
He added and got up walking towards the door
"oh, and Ella, your mum and I are in an open relationship"
He said with a slight smirk before leaving
