Light bringer

PART 1

"Help! Anybody?! Help me!" I scream as tears slide down my face. I suddenly hear talking and clapping upstairs "people?" "Help!" I scream but they don't hear. Then the lights start to blink and the room I'm in starts to heat up. "What the?" I look over at the generator and it starts to spark. I try and back up but the chains on my wrists only pull me back.

I hear the talking upstairs turn to screams and I hear people running. The generator blows. A lighting strike hits me and I fly back in the air. I start to scream as it feels like I'm being ripped apart from the inside out. Everything goes black.

7 months later

I wake up and it felt like the next morning. I look around at the room and notice that there's not much left of it. I notice that all the cuts, scars or bruises that were ever on my body were gone, I felt brand new.

I look up and the ceiling was still intact. I look down at the chains in my wrists "out of all the things that blew up these stayed on?" I whine.

My head shoots toward the elevator as I hear talking. "The boss is gonna kill us if she's dead" "Come on!" I yell as my arms start to burn. I see the chains on my wrists melt off and fall to the ground. I stand up. "Woah"

The elevator door swings open and the two men with guns step out. "Hey!" They yell And I turn around. They shoot their guns and I cover my face with my eyes, I hear screams and my eyes open, a light comes from my body and they fall to the ground, I walk up and they were both dead, their eyes were burned out, I walk past the men and over to the elevator.

Rocks fall from the ceiling down over the door where I can't get out. "Great" I bury my head in my hands, I reach out and touch the rocks and they melt away. I walk up stairs until I get up to a lab, I see two people. A young man and woman "where am I?"

They both spin around. "Who are you?" The woman steps back as I walk forward. "Am I in S.T.A.R labs?" I ask slowly as I keep walking forward. The man with long hair smiles nervously "yes...who are you?"

I stop in place "where is he?" I ask getting mad "where is he!?"

They both gasp as my eyes flash gold. "Another one?" The girl asks the boy and I step closer "another what? Do you know what I am?" They look at each other and nod. "Your a meta-human."

I step closer "meta-human?" The girl nods "I'm Caitlin and this is Cisco."

I nod "please don't put me back down there." I whimper. Hey step forward and I step back "what do you mean? Down where?"

I back up to the wall "here. Down in the basement. Please just let me leave" the woman walks up and grabs my hand. I jump and she calms me "it's ok."

She sits me down on a chair and they stand in front of me. "How did you find us?"

"I've been here in This building for a year. But something happened last night. The generator. It blew. It....it changed me."

They both nod. "Can we do some tests on you. To see what power you have?" "Powers?" I tilt my head and the woman nods. She walks me over to a room. As I walk in I see the walls padded.

I look back and she shuts the door "what th-" she puts her hands up "don't worry. Well let you out." I nod and run my hand across the padded walls and look at the man

"For protection." I nod. The woman gets on a speaker "ok. Show us what you can do." I nod and reach out and touch the padded wall, it starts to melt.

The man smiles "awesome."

I open my eyes and look around. I half smile "did the explosion do this to me?" They nod "we think so." I nod, I was honestly scared of myself and what I was becoming.
