Everyone jumped at the sound of the laptop being slammed shut. Rykers angry, cold, aqua eyes swept across the room. "Dianna!" A deep brunette casually made her way to the middle of the room. Her eyes staying on Ryker as he sat behind the desk. "Yes?" She grunted out. "I want the top agents in here in ten minutes." Dianna tapped her heels against the black rug beneath her. "I'm not your secretary Ryker." She hissed at him. His broad shoulders relaxed as he looked at the little black haired girl standing beside him. "Mikyla. Please do as I've said." The girl nodded walking out of the room.
No one dared take their eyes off Ryker. "The rest of you get out of my office. Dianna you stay." The men relaxed and happily disbursed out of the room.
When the doors closed Ryker sat back in his chair spinning around to look out the window. Dianna walked around the desk and sat on it. She had black ripped jeans, red top and white blouse tucked in on one side, not something you'd see in a high end agency.
The office was designed in Red, Black, and a bronze color to add to its intimidation one side of the room was covered by s large black book shelf. The shelf covered the whole wall and was filled with books, files, and a few picture frames. Opposite of the bookshelf was one way glass looking down at the office building entrance where people swarmed around busy with their work or leaving for missions.
"What are you thoughts Ryker?" Dianna questioned as she stared at the back of his chair. "Isn't it obvious? I'm angry that they hadn't noticed before." Dianna nodded "Do you think someone found out about the secrets?" Ryker spun around stopping the chair to stare at her his cold eyes narrowed. "I don't think. I know. Someone's onto us and will do anything to get the information they seek." He leaned his head in his left hand. "Then we have to kill them I suppose.." Dianna leaned back on her arms as she heard the door open.
Mikyla dipped her head to Ryker as two men walked in. Dianna crosses her legs remaining on Rykers desk as one of the men scoffed "Still think you own the place I see, Dianna Kate." Ryker glanced at Diannas expression as she curled her hands into fists on the desk. "That's enough Varen." Dianna turned and stuck her tongue out at Varen. "Ryker you let her move around to freely" Varen glared at her. "She's my snake. It's not my fault she bites back at you Varen." Dianna snapped her head around and kicked Ryker in the balls causing him to grunt. He hid the pain well but moved over a bit. "Stupid rock you're off topic." Dianna snorted. Ryker cleared his throat and stumbled to his feet. "So what do you think we should do about this Ryker?" Varen questioned. Ryker looked at them and sighed. "Find the beginning and dispose of the information they have." Varen nodded "how should we going to go about that though?" Ryker turned his back to them looking out the window. "Not sure yet. Dianna, have any ideas?" Dianna bit her lip as she started to think. "We could set up false bait to lure them out. See if we have any unwanted guests in our agency that where trying to destroy us from the inside." Varen tilted his head "Whats going to be the 'Fake' bait if you don,t mind me asking?" Ryker looked back "The best kind of course. The poisonous kind that melts in your mouth and destroys you with its good taste."
The room erupted with an ire feeling as Ryker smirked evilly. "Dianna, pack your things we're going to hunt them down. Meet me in the subway at noon Saturday." Dianna looked at Ryker "I like the sound of hunting them down." Ryker nodded. "The blood will cover the streets, halls, and every building of this damned town until they're leader is hanging by the neck in my office." Ryker strutted out of the office with Dianna and his secretary following closely behind leaving Varen and the other man speechless.
"Good god Nick, what kind of king do we follow?" Nick looked at Varen
"A good one" with that the two men exited the room.
Cambrin Café, Baker road
Dianna and Ryker sat at the back of the cafe quietly drinking their coffee. The morning sun shines through the windows as the pare water for Mikyla to arrive. "So, Ryker...who's the one?" Dianna asked quietly so no one else in the little shop could hear her. "His name is Bentley Gilahan. He's a regular here and he's been seen speaking with operatives from our enemy lines." Dianna nodded and looked up as Mikyla walked into the Shop followed by a man that matched the target picture Dianna had taken from Ryker just moments before. Ryker put his hand over Diannas softly. "Hey ease up...you look suspicious." Dianna and Ryker watched Mikyla giggle and smile at the table with the target.
They had asked Mikyla to distract him and it was working well. Ryker was trying not to smile as Mikyla fed the greedy Bentley false information. By Bentley's expression he thought Mikyla was fresh bait but, little did he know he was the real catch. After what felt like hours Mikyla finally stood up and excused herself leaving. Bentley quickly checked her out which Dianna didn't like since the guy was taking advantage of Mikyla or so he thought.
"Alright let's head out I want to go and check out those new stores down the road!" Dianna whined to Ryker making everyone laugh slightly in the small space. Ryker groaned and left the money refusing to let her pull him as he took one last sip and waved to the Barista. Dianna pulled him down the opposite way Mikyla had left and into the store across the street to 'shop' Ryker grunted when he looked around at all the female clothes "Go pick some stuff out so we actually look normal." Dianna nodded and explored the clothes. Ryker sat down and watched Bentley through the mirror in front of him. Bentley walked down the road suspiciously as Mikyla dragged him into the ally way. "Ryker wha-" he cut Dianna off and smiled. "Try them on Dianna he hasn't left the Café yet." Dianna reluctantly nodded and entered the dressing room.
Ryker slipped out of the store, walking into the alleyway Mikyla had pulled Bentley into. He heard Mikyla's sweet voice as she began questioning Bentley, her knife at his neck. "So Bentley you really thought I was going to let you use me?" Ryker pulled his gun out and turned the safety off and pointing it at Bentley head. "Okay I'll make this quick. Bentley Gilahan, you're a failure to our cause." Mikyla stepped away as Ryker pulled the trigger. "Mikyla. Call the cleanup crew and tell Dianna I left my wallet in the cafe. I have someone to meet up with." Ryker disappeared into the street while Mikyla rushed to get the cleanup crew in.
Mikyla entered the store and ran right into Dianna. "Mi mi?! Where's Ryker?" Mikyla smiled "He left his wallet in the café!" Dianna raised her eyebrow. "I watched him put it in his pocket after he paid." Mikyla tilted her head. "Did someone take it or did he drop it?" Dianna shrugged and held up the clothes she picked out. "He made me get some bit isn't going to pay and aren't we supposed to be on a mission?!" Mikyla giggled and handed Dianna Rykers credit card. "Here. He makes me carry this around for this exact reason." Mikyla looked out the window.
"Our mission was to put a tracker on him so the other agents could see who he meets with" Mikyla lied smoothly just like Ryker had taught her. "Oh, well then let's pay and head out Rykers taking too long." Mikyla agreed. The two girls left the store and headed their separate ways
