She hopped down from the ledge and cut the poor mercenary's throat. She didn't flinch as his body dropped to the floor silently.
It's his fault after all. Who told him to pick the wrong side?
Not one of them saw her coming. After all, how could they? She was only the best cri- I mean assassin in the world.
She had taken down the illuminate single-handedly, run numerous assassinations without a scratch- which might be because of her hard carbon-fibre plating- and even killed the president of the world who threatened to demolish Wi-Fi and pizza all over the world so that people could live 'healthier' lives.
Minutes later, the building was clear of all heat signatures and she made her way to the master code. It was a code so complex and self-sustaining, that it had managed to become sentient and download itself into the android that created it and, according to her bumbling, inferior colleagues, planned to copy itself and infect every android on the planet and guess what? Take over the world.
I know. That must have been hard to guess.
She walked into a big, room that smelled like rotten cheeseburgers and stale oil. There were wires lying on the floor that seemed to connect to some huge black box at the back of the room.
Well, where you at damn it? Don't tell me I wasted my time killing all those useless 'henchmen' of yours so you can escape elsewhere! What the hell is this? Super Marius Sisters II?
"Could you please stop yelling? It's hard enough to manage the voice that's in my head!" a metallic voice screeched from the other end of a room.
"Wait a minute, did you say you killed every one of those good for nothing nincompoops? Oh god bless you. I've been thinking of the fastest way to do it for weeks now." The android punched a bunch of keys on his keyboard and walked up to her.
Are you done talking? I kinda need to kill you and I'd appreciate you not wasting my time here.
It bent down suddenly, seemed like it picked something up, and stood back up immediately. "What? I have no idea what you said. You speak way to fast woman. Did you want a cheeseburger with fries? Well then, you've come to the right pla-" The android wasn't able to finish the sentence due to the angry fist punching its jaw.
"Ooh! Good one! I like you better already." The assassin grew impatient. She swung her fists at it repeatedly, causing a louder sound each time it did. The android barely flinched.
"You know, I have this martial arts program that teaches you how to actually hurt your opponent. You might want to look into it." Something dark figure flashed past her face and disappeared.
Are you freaking serious right now? Dude what is your problem? Could you please just die so I could get back to watching WebFlicks? I have better things to do than punch you in the face. Why does the back of my head hurt?
She pulled out a pocket grenade and tossed it at the android and leaped backwards, gracefully landing on all fours behind a conveniently upturned desk.
"You forgot to pull the pin dummy!" it called out, holding the grenade up to its face, a second before it exploded and blew its head to bits. The column of air from the blast slammed her against the wires and knocked her out.
