Robyn woke up to the all to familiar noise of the air locks opening. She woke up and moved to the old metal chair against the wall in her room.

"5, 4, 3, 2..." The last air lock door opened.

Robyn leaned her head back against the cold, empty wall and put her left arm on the table that was next to her. The scientist came in almost every day to run experiments, or really, take parts of her for experiments. Every time this happened she went into her own mind, she would think of life if she wasn't born a biological weapon or plainly of the past.

Today, she thought of the past.

Robyn could still remember the faces of every other child that was in the "nursery", as everyone else called it, and the faces of all the kids she knew. No one knew she was a weapon when she was young, very few kids even show signs of what their power will be until they get older. The scientist just had a way to know if a child had powers.

One day, when Robyn was about 8, all the kids started getting sick. It started as colds, but slowly progressed until some started having internal bleeding. The adults soon found out it was her causing the sickness, so they moved her to her own room.

Only adults were allowed to see her, she wasn't even allowed outside any more. When she was 10, the adults started getting sick, so they started wearing gas masks. That didn't help, because her sickness would stick to their clothes and spread through the facility.

When the Director found out about the epidemic, he started plans for a whole new facility, just for Robyn. They ended up having to rush the construction because her sickness started spreading through the air ducts.

The facility, later referred to as 'Robyn's side/Facility", consisted of: 2 main air locks to even get in, a lab to separate her DNA from the others', a boarding room for all the scientist that used to have to stay on her side, and a living room.

Robyn doesn't count her room as part of the main facility. To get to her room, the scientist have to go through an air locked room that also served as a decontamination room, a room to put on/take off their hazmat suits, then another air locked/ decontamination room.

The whole facility had no windows, as far as Robyn knew, and her room was only 20 feet by 20 feet. She had very little in her room, just a bed, a desk, the metal chair, and the table. She had a few trinkets, but nothing important.

She spent 5 years in there alone, until one day a girl, about her age, came into her room. The girl had greenish blue eyes that sparkled like the sun on the ocean, dark brown hair that looked black, and a tan complexion.

Robyn forgot the girls name, but not her face. She came into her room almost everyday. They did anything and everything that was possible. The girl would even bring games from the other facility or special foods that Robyn had never heard of before or had never had.

Robyn was able to forget that she would forever be alone when this girl was around and she never brought up the fact that the girl was immune to her or that she probably shouldn't be in there, because she was too happy to give it up.

One day the girl wasn't careful enough when she snuck in and every scientist went on a man hunt for her. When they found out where she was, the Director himself came and got her. That was the last time she ever saw that girl, which was almost 3 years ago.

"Done"

That simple word pulled Robyn out of her thoughts and back into that room. She never knew who said it, or if it was a different person every time, but she didn't care.

A man stepped in front of Robyn and looked her directly in the eyes, "You have a special visitor today, don't do anything dumb."

Robyn rolled her eyes and waited for the person to come in. She instantly knew who it was, she could tell by the fancy white hazmat suit with the full-face visor, it was the Director.
