I brushed my curly, brown locks once more making sure it looked nice and I also made sure my black crop top and white skirt fit right before wearing my white sneakers. After checking my appearance on the mirror one last time, I decided to head out.

I hailed a cab instead of bringing my own car to the restaurant where I was supposed to meet our boss for another job because I really didn't like driving. I would rather rest whenever I can.

When I arrived at the classy restaurant and gave our boss' name 10 minutes before the set meeting time, I was led to a private room at the back of the restaurant. I was surprised to find my roommate sitting elegantly on the mahogany chair by the beautifully prepared table in the middle.

Jennie was wearing a white dress that hugged her figure nicely and was lazily scrolling through her phone before she looked up at me. Jennie groaned and I raised my brow at that.

"Don't tell me we're working together again," Jennie expressed exasperatedly.

I pretended to be offended as I took a seat beside her.

"You could do worse than working with me," I said.

"Actually, you're probably the worst person for me to work with," Jennie deadpanned.

"That's just mean," I said with a roll of my eyes.

"No offense, Chaeng, but I would rather kill a hundred people than hear or see you be great at what you do."

I only smirked. I understood, really, and I did not take offense.

Our attention was caught when the door opened and revealed two women. I immediately recognized the shorter, gorgeous woman with black hair wearing a body fitting black dress as I had worked with Jisoo multiple times already. I actually like Jisoo because she was also great at what she does. But my attention easily moved to the tall, blonde, and equally gorgeous, unfamiliar woman beside Jisoo who was wearing fitted pants and a black crop top. Simple but stunning.

I still masked my face with a blank look even though I was curious. I didn't look away as the blonde woman met mine in an intense gaze. I could see curiosity in her eyes. But there was also adoration, an effect I have on most people.

"Ugh, this day just keeps getting worse, doesn't it? Now, I have to work with you, too, Manoban," Jennie grumbled, breaking my stare with the unfamiliar woman.

"Forgive her," I said with a smile as I stood up to greet the two. "She woke up on the wrong side of the bed, I think."

"Nah, she really has a bad attitude," the blonde replied, capturing my attention with another deep stare.

"Say that to my face again, bitch," Jennie said, standing up with a menacing look.

The blonde moved behind Jisoo a little which made me smile.

"I'm glad to be working with you again, Jisoo-unnie," I said with another smile, gaining the attention of the older woman who seemed to have been staring at Jennie the whole time.

"Jobs with you are not exactly pleasing but I'm glad we can spend time together again, Chaeng," Jisoo said with big smile as she stepped closer to me. I did not hesitate to give the woman a short hug as I was that comfortable around her.

"Hi! I'm Lalisa Manoban, by the way, but you can call me Lisa," the blonde said with a confident smile as she offered her hand when I parted with Jisoo.

"Park Chaeyoung. You can also call me Chaeng or Rosé," I replied, taking Lisa's hand, noting how soft it was but still with a firm grip before I pulled my hand away.
