Chapter 10
When I wake up I see him
He is holding me.
I don’t remember what happened.
I remember my pipe.
I don’t remember anything else.
It feels good in his arms.
He’s stronger than he looks.
I don’t like him.
I just feel good in his arms.
I said his name.
He made a sound.
I said his name again.
He opened his eyes.
He told me what happened.
He asked if I wanted him to drop me home.
I said no.
He looked worried.
I told him not to be.
I smiled walking home.
He brought me to his house.
He held me.
I don’t like him.
He just makes me smile.
I cross my fingers.
My mom is there when I get home.
She’s angry.
She holds me by the throat.
She says she’ll kill me if I don’t come home again.
She asked me where I was.
I told her about him.
She punched me.
She says I’m trying to get her in trouble.
I said i’m not.
She punches me anyway.
