On a sticky April afternoon, I had finished my lunch and was reading my novel on the bed. I heard some noise, coming from the kitchen. Mom shouted at me to bring the clothes from the terrace. But I was busy in the storybook. So I denied. Mom came angrily and snatched my book.

"I knew, you are reading unnecessary books. At least read your study books." Mom said in a loud voice.

"Mummy please give it to me, the mysteries have to be solved," I said.

"What....what are you talking about?" mom asked me in astonish tone.

"I am in the last part of the story and the whole mysteries will solve. Please give the book."

"No way...first, go and bring all the clothes from the terrace, after that, I will give your book." Mom said in an angry tone.

"Mom please... don't spoil my reading mood. I will surely bring that after the story Please."

"Ok...what are you reading? Tell me the story." She asked.

"It's a story about the world famous Detective Sherlock Holmes. But now I can't tell the complete story." I said.

"Like Byomkesh Bakshi?" mom exclaimed.

'Yeah exactly' I said.

Mom put the book on my bed and walked to the kitchen. "Don't forget to bring the clothes otherwise I will put your all novels in locker." Said while walking.

"Do not worry. That'll never happen. I will bring clothes." I said.
I closed my door, turned on the AC and covered blanket on half of my body. I finished the chapter. I put the book side of my head. I have never read such type of mystery story. Lots of Random thoughts came to my mind about that adventure story. On that thought, my eyes closed slowly. I heard a doorbell sound. It rang two times but no one opened the door. I called mom.

"Som, go and open the door. I am in the kitchen" mom said in a busy tone.

I went and opened the door.

"I was standing out from 5 minutes." father said in disgusting tone.

"Sorry, papa... that's not my fault. I was sleeping ." I said.

Mom came with a half smile. "I was also busy in the kitchen." She said.

"You people are such ridiculous. You will never understand my situation." He said.

After that, he sat on the couch and took his coffee. Then he said, "Our company sales got a high rate in the other 5 states and also in international markets. Today our HR said that he will go to London for representing our business strategy. He asked me to join him. So I said yes. Next month I have to go to London ."

"What's about our Kashmir plan ?" mom asked.

"We have to cancel that plan. This vacation we will enjoy in foreign. Also, my official work will complete there." Papa said.

After hearing that whole conversation, I said him with excitement that if we would go to London, we should visit the 221B Baker street, where Sherlock Holmes lives.

"Who is he? any film star or football player ?" he asked.

"No sir, he is a world-famous detective." Mom said in a taunting tone.

"Ok... no problem, we will also go there," Papa said.

We were in London. It was a cloudy day in London that found me idling along Baker Street, with my hand in my raincoat pockets, a threadbare scarf wound around my neck. Papa and mummy were watching and traveling to each and every shop in baker street. In the other side, I was busy to find the house number 221B. That's the house number of Sherlock Holmes. But I could not find that.
Wrapped in thought, I had wandered into Regent's Park. And now I wasn't sure of the way out.
A tall gentleman wearing a long grey cloak was stooping over a flower bed. Going up to him, I asked, 'Excuse me, sir- can you tell me how I get out of here?'
