Professor Kaizwa had his hands folded behind his back as he looked down at the small white painted room from his transparent large glass window. Light beaming off his glasses.

He stared intensely at the floating black box, rotating slowly, red electric sparks popping off around it while occasionally firing off streaks of crimson lightning across the room.

Only one platoon left...He thought deeply to himself. Were running out of time.

Suddenly the automatic door to his dimly lit command center slid open. A sound of loud tapping of heels entered in the quiet atmosphere.

"Professor Kaizwa. My apologies for the intrusion.." The soft voice spoke.

"Are they ready?" He asked without turning around. Eyes glued on the box.

"Yes. The Drill sergeants reported that the training is compl-"

"Do it."

Doctor Octavia nodded without a word and exited the room, leaving the professor glaring at the box. His eyes glowing with a sinister focus.

"Hey Brandon!" A voice whispered across from the top bunk bed where the dirty blond haired teenager laid on.

It was pitch black inside the boy's barracks but Brandon had his eyes halfway open, a calm, stoic bored expression on his face and laid on the bed with a relaxed posture with his knee up and two hands behind the back of his head as he ignored the whispering of his name.

Suddenly a pillow smack right into the side of his face.

"Oi! Don't ignore me asshole!" The angry and annoyed voice whispered harshly through the darkness.

Brandon sighed quietly as he slowly removed the pillow from his face, his expression and position on the bed staying the same. He then flung it pack casually with one hand and the pillow hit its target with a THUMP.

"Ow! I knew you were awake!"

"Yea. Were all going to be real soon." Brandon replied monotone, a dullness in his voice.

Chris satup right and rested his forearms on the bars of his top bunk bed leaving his arms to dangly casually, looking at brandon confused.

"What you mean? We get a extra hour of sleep for our suits."

"No. We don't Chris."

Chris placed his hands on the bars and leaned forward, frowning angrily. "But drill sergeant said-"

"Talking is prohibited while lights out." a stern voice spoke out across the room from Chris, cutting him off.

Chris snapped his head to the direction of the voice, an annoyed expression on his face.

"Then i guess you better shut your mouth Marcus."

Marcus laid on his side on the top bunk, resting his hand on top his folded hands and knees tucked in with a warm taunting smile on his face.

"Don't get smart now since today is our last day here. I'm still you're squad leader." Hector answered back with one eye open.

Chris scoffed and cracked his neck. "Should've did this a long time ago.."

Marcus raised his hand in air and signaled Chris a "come on".

"About time idiot" Marcus called out.

"Guys...." A soft voice came from the bed under Marcus. Kai was sitting up on his bed his arms resting on his kneecaps. A worried expression on his face. "Drill sergeant might hear us.."
