Your first mention in the Heck house

I don't know for sure if instagram existed during the Middle or if Axl even had an account but for this imagine just pretend it exists. --------------------------------

I sat on the couch scrolling through y/n's instagram. Even though I would never admit it to anyone, not even my best friends, I had developed a huge crush on her for the past month. The way she giggled at my stupid jokes and had her hand raised every time before even the teacher had completed asking the question. It was weirdly addicting.

"Whacha doing, Axl?" said Sue in my ear, nearly making me pee my pants.

I let go of my phone startled by her voice. "Leave me alone, Sue." I replied clearly annoyed. 

I glanced at my phone, which lied face up, about three feet ahead of me. Quickly I flipped it so it's back faced up.  I did not want Sue kno-

"Aaahhhh!! Axl has a crush!" squealed her annoying singsong voice.

"Shut up, Sue. Will ya? I don't want everyone to know." I whisper-shouted at her, my cheeks reddening. Too late, though..

"Axl has a crush!" I heard mom echoing Sue's words in awe.

"Axl has a crush?" Dad echoed from his room. I could practically feel him giving me a questioning glance.

"Axl has a crush." Brick repeated monotonously. (Don't ask me why I even know that big word. Just something I heard y/n use once).
After a pause he did his thing where he looked down and whispered the words, "Axl has a crush.."

Sue scooted closer to me with a grin. I rolled my eyes. "I don't even like her," I lied avoiding her eyes.

"Yes, that makes complete sense considering the fact that you have," her voice suddenly got squeakier when she snatched my phone ftom my hands and scrolled,"liked every single post of hers..!! Even from like four years ago!"

"Shut up."
