"I like it," I said.
"Ok outcasts, you know the plan," Em said. Then she grabbed my hand and we all jumped to the heart of Central City.
When we reappeared, it was just Em and me. We were hidden in some bushes just across the street from the mayor's office.
"Ok, Chloe," she began to say, but I heard someone in her ear cut her off.
"Dude!" I heard Chloe say. "Code names!"
"Sorry!" Em said. "Ok, Mayhem, are you in position in the alley?"
"Yup," Chloe said.
"Thunder? You on the buildings?"
"Yes ma'am," he said.
"Bee?"
"I'm in the ally," he said.
"Ok, I'll stay in the bushes. Mayhem, when I see the mayor leave, I'll let you know," she said.
"Does she have a speech?" I asked.
"What?" Em asked confused.
"Wait, what?" Wyatt asked, confused as well. "What did he just say?"
"Hold on," she said into her com. "Barry, what are you talking about?"
"Well, every great villain needs to have a speech. You know, a reason for doing what they're doing." She thought about it for a moment and then spoke back into her com.
"Mayhem, think of what you're going to say when you attack. But once you're done, make sure you get out of there," Em said. I couldn't hear what Chloe's response was, but probably something sarcastic.
"Ok Barry, you ready?" she asked.
"As I'll ever be," I said. Then I walked into the bustling streets of Central City.

Ciscos POV
"Guys!" I yelled, even though we were all in the cortex together. After I yelled that, the alarm began to blare. Sometimes it's fun to have ESP.
"What is it?" Iris asked. Joe was about to chime in, but his phone rang.
"Meta attack at the mayor's office," I said. I didn't know what else I could say, it was pretty self-explanatory.
"Ok, Cisco? Get everyone down there. Frost, Ralph? Think you can handle it?" Iris asked. Joe ran out, but that was to be expected. He had to get down to the scene with the cops.
"The question is," Ralph began to say. I just put my head in my hands. This guy has some serious problems. "Ralph!" I screamed. "Don't even say it." After that, I opened a breach to downtown Central City, and Frost, Ralph and I hopped into it.
When we got there, everything was a mess. The mayor was on the stairs, trying to talk down the woman threatening his life. Well, she actually looked more like a teenager. His bodyguards were knocked out, thankfully not killed, and everyone else was running away. The cops had the scene taped off. I looked around and I could see Joe. Behind him though, I almost thought I saw Barry.
I had to shake it off though. I was just upset he left. And besides, I have to save the mayor.
"Hey!" I yelled to the girl trying to approach her. Ralph was using his stretchy arms to get the bodyguards to safety, and Frost had tried to create a barrier to protect everyone from this masked person.
She seemed to have heard me but ignored me. "You don't have to do this!" the mayor cried. He was a rather stoic, older man, so it was rather surprising when he was trembling with fear.
"Oh, you see? But I want to," she said. I could sense she was about to make a move, so I shot her with a blast. She easily dodged it by side rolling. Clearly, this girl has some skills. She kind of looked like Sara, but it couldn't have been her. She was first off no longer the black canary and secondly, she was probably hanging out with some dinosaurs.
When she came up and looked at me from her side roll, her eyes looked, familiar. So much as it distracted me from what I had to do. I finally realized who she was. But before I could say anything else, I felt something heavy hit the back of my head, knocking me to the ground.
I was a little disoriented, to say the least. I could see black spots quickly appear and then disappear. I then saw the girl turn towards the mayor. But before she could make her final blow, he was gone in a red streak.
"Barry?" I asked before I finally blacked out.

Barrys POV
I was walking around in the crowds, waiting for Chloe to make her move. Sorry, I mean Mayhem. I was waiting for Mayhem.
As I was about to make my second loop down the sidewalk, I saw the mayor and many bodyguards exit the building. And just like clockwork, Mayhem was there pretending to threaten him. After about a minute of them talking, I saw the cop cars all pull up. I tried to stay hidden because leading the charge was Joe. The last thing I needed right now was to get caught.
I watched Chloe take out all the guards by throwing various objects at them. I probably would have tried to do it somewhat safer, but I wasn't about to question her methods. Although, it was pretty cool watching her move objects around with her mind.
I made my way to the back of the crowds, getting ready to swoop in and save the day not as the Flash, but as Barry Allen. Or I guess Scarlett. But before I was about to take off, some more people decided to join the party.
"Really?" I said. I knew they would show, it just would have been a lot easier if they didn't. I moved back to the front of the crowd to see if Chloe needed help, but she handled it flawlessly. She even took down Cisco, which is pretty hard to do if your not a speedster.
Once she turned back to the mayor, I knew I had to make my move. Before I ran, I saw Joe. I looked at him for a moment, and my heart broke. I did miss them. And I knew I hurt them. I vowed to never do that, but I had to.
"I'm sorry, Joe," I said out loud. I tried to say it quietly, but I don't actually think that happened. I guess he heard me because he turned around and stared at me. His eyes widened, and I gave him a small smile. Before he could say anything though, I ran in and took the mayor away to a nearby ally.
"What in the hell!" he said, a little disoriented.
"Sorry!" I said trying to act clueless. "I'm still getting the hang of it," I lied.
"It's ok," he said catching his breath. I could tell I sparked that interest in him, which was good. "Who are you?"
"Sorry," I said sticking my hand out. "I'm Barry. Barry Allen." And there it was. I just gave out my identity. Hopefully, no one would put the pieces together.
"Well, Mr. Allen," he said shaking my hand, "thank you. How can I ever thank you?"
"Really, there's no need," I said trying to be modest.
"I insist," he said. "Meet me at Jitters in one hour and we can talk." I nodded my head. He did in return and then began to walk away.
"Actually, there is one more thing," I said.
"Anything," he said turning back around.
"Please, don't tell anyone about me," I said. I felt like I was giving a performance. Who knows? Maybe I was a performer, in another life.
"Don't worry Mr. Allen. Your secrets safe with me." And with that, he finally walked out onto the streets of Central City.
Once he was out of sight, I took a deep breath and steadied myself on the wall.
"What did I just do?" I asked myself out loud. There was no turning back now.
