Such lovely girl,
Said the singing stream,
Its waters spilling into foam,
Little bones tumbling along with the pebbles.
Her liquid black hair spilling down her spine,
Admiring
As the water billowed her silks in blooms of blood.

The very stars peeked down,
Shimmering unto the water,
Rapt at the way she strung starlight through her fingers,
Eager at what she would create.

And the moon,
The moon longed for her face every night,
At the way the girl's eyes sought her out,
As if she were a beautiful magic.
